Just some things to read that may help you.

The Gospel According to John (KJV)

Romans 10:9 (KJV)

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV)

I suggest you do your reading from the standard King James Version Holy Bible so you don't read anything that is inauthentic, or badly stylized.

Maybe some other people could list theirs as well?

Have a great day. :)

Definitely avoid the "badly stylized" texts, because we wouldn't want anyone to be confused or led astray when they read Scripture. ... as in the KJV:

"Why gaddest thou about so much to change thy way?"

"Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels."

And the granddaddy of them all, " And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him."

Maybe just use a good modern translation like the NIV, which is written in comprehensible English.

Genesis lays the foundation of sin and the consequences of it to start, that relates directly to Jesus's sacrificial atonement, do its good to include references to the fall in that.

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

1Th 4:16-18
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Mat 5:10-12
10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Badly stylised is exactly the problem with the KJV. "And Joseph made haste; for his bowels did yearn upon his brother:" There are 37 references to "bowels" in the KJV. Sometimes it refers to the physical, others to emotion. Let a new Christian try to sort that mess out.

When I was first saved, every preacher spent much of the message explaining what the KJV meant in real English. I decided to save myself the bother and get something that made sense. There are a number of decent translations. I use Bible Hub and compare different translations.

Excellent point! I decided the same thing when I was a senior in HS and asked my parents to give me a modern English Bible for Christmas, and they presented me the NEB.

Since then I have also read the TEV (which version I tried to memorize, but to no long-term avail) and others, but my favorite that I use for studying the TOJ and the TOP is the NIV.

It would help if I knew what you were talking about. I do not speak TLA.

HS = high school
NEB = New English Bible
TEV = Today's English Version aka The Good News Bible
TOJ = teachings of Jesus
TOP = teachings of Paul
NIV = New International Version
GWH = God's Word/Hope

(What is TLA? :^)

Romans 10:9 (KJV)

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV)
In Romans 10:5-10, Paul referenced Deuteronomy 30 as the word of faith that we proclaim in regard to proclaiming that God's law is not too difficult for us to obey, that obedience to it brings life and a blessing, in regard to what we are agreeing to obey by confessing that Jesus is Lord, and in regard to the way to believe that God raised Jesus from the dead for salvation.

In Titus 2:11-13, our salvation is described as being trained by grace to do what is godly, righteous, and good, and to renounce doing what is ungodly, so doing those works has nothing to do with trying to earn our salvation as the result, but rather God graciously teaching us to be a doer of those works is part of His gift of salvation. In Titus 2:14, Jesus gave himself to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people of their own possession who are zealous for doing good works so the way to believe in what Jesus spent his ministry teaching by word and by example and in what he accomplished in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 is by repenting and becoming zealous for doing good works in obedience to God's law (Acts 21:20).

No, he did not! He referred to Deuteronomy 30:12-14 specifically, which discusses the accessibility of the word of God. He did not refer to verse 11. Do your homework and don't misrepresent the word of God to further your Judaizer agenda.

In Titus 2:14, Jesus gave himself to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people of their own possession who are zealous for doing good works so the way to believe ... is by repenting and becoming zealous for doing good works in obedience to God's law (Acts 21:20).
That's not what Paul wrote. Again, you misrepresent the word of God; grossly.

It's refreshing to see you trying to reach the lost.
I have attended non KJV churches for too many years. Unfortunately, the pastors showed no zeal or love to encourage us to reach the lost before they die and are doomed forever.
Whenever I tried to let them know how God was blessing the ministry with salvations, I was met with stoic stone faces.
I'd like to see true gospel teaching/ preaching KJV churches start soul Winning programs too.
May we continue to encourage each other.
📖😊👍
Please keep me in prayer.
I need to recover and get to a position to encourage this goal throughout my part of the country.
