I have noticed that you interpret scripture with scripture, which is the way we should be arriving at our conclusions. That said, and regarding the woman, below is the reason why the woman of Revelation 12 is representing Israel:
From another perspective.
Because we must walk by faith one of the precepts needed to understand parables so that we can interpret scripture with scripture that we can have the spiritual understanding hid from natural man, it reads..
2Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, “but” at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
With that in mind having a spiritual understanding
Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.....one bride
When we compare scripture to scripture it informs us that without parables, Christ, the Word of God spoke not to the multitude and that includes Israel . Remembering all Israel is not Israel as His bride the church or the new name His named His people in the book of Acts 11; Christians. Not all Christians are Christians.( the bride of Christ) In the same way a Jew is not a Jew unless he is one inwardly born again of the Spirit of Christ the seed of His word which will never die.
"Then he had another dream, and he told it to his brothers. “Listen,” he said, “I had another dream, and this time the sun and moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”
When he told his father as well as his brothers, his father rebuked him and said, “What is this dream you had? Will your mother and I and your brothers actually come and bow down to the ground before you?”
Jacob a type of Christ our husband is from where the spiritual seed Christ came, is recognized as the generation of Christ.... and not after Jacob’s sinful flesh, the generation of Adam. In that parable it is used as an example of the new heavenly Jerusalem, the mother of us all . Jacob was used to typify Christ our husband in that parable his mother and brothers as the bride of Christ worshiping her husband, Christ.
She is prepared as the bride of Christ also called the spiritual house made up of many lively stones the church of God...
The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren; Mat 1:1
The seed as to the genealogy ended when Christ came temporally in the flesh, the time of reformation had come.
The church His bride is used as a segregate mother used to bring other members into the body His bride by the hearing of faith the gospel of our salvation, as Christ chaste virgin bride. She is first mentioned in Genesis is 3:15 because the serpent beguiled her .
She is also spoken of below.
For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ2Co 11:3
His name is jealous in that way.(He alone owns all things will not share his glory with the creature.)
Exodus 34:14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
Paul as a segregate Mother is shown as being zealous until the seed of Christ through Christ is formed.
But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you. My little children, of whom I” travail in birth” again until “Christ be formed in you,I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband. Gal 4:19-26
She represents the woman in Revelation 12 the same woman prepared as His bride in Revelation 21 she made mention of in Josef dream . She is clothed in the righteousness of Christ her husband. He crushed the head of the serpent.
There are other references to the new creature (no longer male nor female Jew nor Gentile) as the mother us of all the church Christs our Husband bride,
Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD. For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God. Isa 54; 1-6
Zion the heavenly Jerusalem as the bride is referred to also in chapter 66.
Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child...Isaiah 66:7
(our second birth, just as Eve came from Adam, in the same way Christ’s wife the church came from Christ’s side.)
Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory. For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees. As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem. sa 66:7-13
Another reference that speaks of Zion the heavenly city prepared as the bride of Christ and also a reference to the new name he named His bride the church (Christian) . a word that denotes residents of the city of Christ His bride. She is clothed with the righteousness of Christ like the Sun.
For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth. And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.(Christian)
Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah (my delight is in her"
), and thy land Beulah (married wife): for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married. For as a young man marrieth a virgin,(1444,000 a number no man can count )
so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee. sa 62:1-5
