I thought so ... thanks for clarifying.
Fox News was the example of the Republican media/information control arm.
I observed some pastors who got swept up with their Fox talking points to get behind the war effort as if it was God's wandering people entering the promised land to shout down the walls of Jericho.

I think they were more emotional in their thoughts than looking to the Bible. However a lot of them did eventually see that event from a Biblical POV.

There is a lot of information on this thread that is for sure.

So many reasons:

It is a war of choice, not a war of necessity, based on a false narrative
Potential for it expanding beyond the region or being another forever war
It is the tail wagging the dog..the dog in this case is the USA
Common folk will suffer, the ruling class are protected from the harm they inflict
This is an imperialist expansionist war.... huckeee told us it very clearly.
Thanks for your summary.
It has complete merit with history and current facts to back it up!

I think Charlie Kirk was very intelligent and very well informed, so his opinion is certainly of interest.
Yes, I agree.
That report was well explained by Harris in my previous post.
He based it upon the entire interview from the testimony of the actual Director of Counterteriorism. So, knowing you, you probably want to go to the source.

Prior to going to war I think it is beneficial for everyone to give their opinions on such an option. However, once the decision is made to go to war then I think it becomes contrary to the best interests of the country to keep debating it or speaking against it. Now if you want to quietly keep a close eye on what is going on, how the war is prosecuted, and any crimes against humanity that is a good thing.

Likewise if you want to campaign against anyone in the upcoming election based on the war, that is also a good way to address this.

But what @ChristRoseFromTheDead and what @HeIsHere are doing are not beneficial to anyone. If they feel strongly, write a book and when the war is over publish it.

For some reason many Americans never learned that "freedom of speech" includes freedom to keep your mouth shut. As for Canadians, they don't have freedom of speech. I still remember the trucker rally in Canada. No one cares what she thinks at this point, now that the decision is made. Perhaps a poll of Canadians prior to the decision would have been important, but now the country has no choice but to finish this in the best way possible.

Who made you judge of what right and wrong behavior is? The Vietnam war ended because the people were against it.

We have to withdraw from this war. A United States president cannot, under no circumstances, accept that another country goes wild in a war like operation.

Mr president, you have to draw a line here!
Looks like he drew his line around Kharg Island.

I don't see how my comments to several individuals would be equated with a campaign.
I've campaigned for local/state and national elections and know what's involved.

I consider it a positive thing that Trump's supporters and voters are trying what little they can to reign him in from the deep state here and Israeli influence, ie Netanyahoo. Who else is going to do it?

This is what will stop the war. Pressure on the US by the world to do so. The guy in the picture with the flag behind him looks like a KKK member lol

Qatar has faced long-standing accusations of supporting terrorism, with reports indicating that individuals and entities within the country have provided financial support to groups like Al-Qaeda and its affiliates, as well as maintaining ties to Hamas and the Taliban. While Qatar denies these charges and works with the U.S. against terrorism, critics argue that their efforts against financing have been insufficient.

Key points regarding Qatar and terrorism:

  • Financing Allegations: Despite new legislation, entities within Qatar continue to serve as a source of financial support for regional terrorist organizations, particularly al-Qaeda affiliates like the Nusrah Front.
  • Support for Extremist Groups: Qatar has provided support for Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), organizations designated as terrorist groups by many nations.
  • The Taliban: Qatar hosted the Taliban's political office for negotiations, which facilitated dialogue but also generated concerns about their connections, according to www.emetonline.org.
  • Counter-terrorism Efforts: Qatar is a member of the U.S.-led coalition against ISIS and a member of the Terrorist Financing Targeting Center (TFTC), a regional body that has sanctioned individuals with links to various terrorist groups.
  • Strategic U.S. Partner: Despite accusations, Qatar acts as a key U.S. military partner, hosting the Al-Udeid Air Base, which is central to regional counterterrorism operations, notes Wikipedia.

The situation is complex, as Qatar acts as both a mediator and a supporter of various Islamist groups, leading to mixed assessments of its role by the international community, says
