I have checked everything my Pastor teaches, by doing what Berrien's did, they searched the scriptures to see if those things are so. And I'm pleased to confirm that my Pastor has been exceedingly faithful to the Lord in all of his teaching and preaching.
We have around 120 members, and not a single ones has ever found any fault in anything he teaches. So it sounds like you haven't found a faithful Shepherd as yet. It took me around 3 1/2 years to find a Church where Gods Word is faithfully proclaimed.

Nope. Pre-trib rapture of the Church is false, because it doesn't line up with what the scriptures reveal about the rapture.
The pre-tribulation rapture is an unbiblical, recent invention. The post-tribulation perspective where the church endures the tribulation and is gathered at Christ's single, visible return makes more sense.

The following verses confirm the our view as being biblically correct.

Matt. 24:29-31 Jesus explicitly states the gathering of the elect happens "Immediately after the tribulation of those days," not before.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 (The Gathering): Paul states that believers who are alive are "caught up" together with the resurrected dead to meet the Lord, this is the church meeting Jesus in the air as He descends, not disappearing before the tribulation begins.
2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 (The Apostasy/Antichrist): Paul argues that the Day of the Lord (rapture/return) cannot happen until "the apostasy" and the revealing of the "man of lawlessness" (Antichrist) occurs.
Revelation 13:7 (The Saints in Tribulation): The beast is given power to "make war with the saints and to overcome them," implying the church is present during the tribulation.
John 17:15 (Protection Within Tribulation): Jesus prays to the Father, "I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one," which is seen as a promise of protection in the tribulation, not removal from it.
Matt. 13:29-30 (Wheat and Tares): Jesus says the wheat (believers) and tares (unbelievers) grow together until the harvest (end of the age), suggesting the church is not removed before the judgment.
Oh and BTW, that which you have concluded is standard error for newbies who stumble into an Augustininan amillennial "Church".

It may take 20 years for you to discover the actual intended meaning of those passages.

Good luck kid. You are gonna need it.

Oh and BTW, the PRE-TRIB rapture is the ONLY "order/rank" of resurrection where STILL LIVING believers are "TRANSFORMED".
Like the OT "types" Enoch and Elijah, and MANY others, all of whom of whom are portrayals of a pre-trib rapture.

You see kid, some of us actually DO know what we are talking about. And DO rightly divide the truth and preach sound doctrine.

****************************************************************

Enoch left
Lot left
Rahab left
Ruth married
Joseph’s bride secured
Isaac’s bride sheltered
Daniel absent
Elijah taken

OT patterns confirm the pre-trib rapture:
-The HEBREW Passover pattern
-The HEBREW marriage protocol pattern

What needs to be understood is that God embeds prophetic patterns (“types”) in the Old Testament long before He reveals the doctrine plainly in the New Testament (1 Cor 10:11).

God removes or shelters the righteous before He pours out global or regional judgment.

Below are the major OT rapture-types that form a unified prophetic pattern.

1) Enoch — Removed before judgment

Genesis 5:24
“And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.”

Enoch was:
• Righteous
• Walking with God
• Removed before the Flood (the greatest judgment in history)

This is the purest rapture type in the Bible.

Noah (Israel) goes through the Flood
Enoch (the Church) is taken out beforehand

This is not accidental — Hebrews 11:5 explicitly says Enoch was translated (Greek: metatithēmi = moved from one place to another without dying).

2) Noah & the Ark — Israel protected, Church removed

The Flood is the OT type of the Tribulation.

Person What happened Prophetic role
Enoch Taken away Church raptured
Noah Preserved through wrath Israel protected
World Judged Tribulation

Jesus directly linked His Second Coming to the days of Noah (Matthew 24:37).

The structure is identical to Revelation.

3) Lot — Removed before fire fell

Genesis 19:22
“Haste thee… for I cannot do anything till thou be come thither.”

God literally says:

“I cannot judge Sodom until Lot is gone.”

This is massive.

Lot is not a great saint — yet he is righteous (2 Peter 2:7-8).
God forcibly removes him before judgment falls.

Jesus explicitly ties Lot to end-time judgment in Luke 17:28-30.

4) Isaac — The bride never goes into the wilderness

In Genesis 24:

• Isaac (the son) stays home
• A servant (Holy Spirit) goes to get a bride
• Rebekah is taken to Isaac
• She never enters the wilderness

Israel goes through the wilderness
The Bride does not

This is the clearest picture of the Church being taken to Christ before Jacob’s trouble begins.

5) Joseph — The Gentile bride before the famine

Joseph is rejected by his brothers (Israel), then:

• Exalted to Gentile ruler
• Takes a Gentile bride
• Then the 7-year famine begins
• Then he is revealed to Israel

This is textbook:
Christ → Church → Tribulation → Israel restored

6) Ruth — The Church gathered before judgment

You already noted this one, but here’s the prophetic key:

• Ruth (Gentile bride) is married to Boaz
• Before Naomi (Israel) is restored
• Before famine ends
• Before the kingdom blessing comes

Ruth is not present during Israel’s time of national chastening — she is already in union with the Redeemer.

7) Elijah — Taken before Israel enters tribulation

Elijah is:
• Taken up
• Then Elisha ministers to Israel during a time of judgment and apostasy

Elijah = Church
Elisha = Israel’s prophetic witness during tribulation

Malachi 4 ties Elijah to the end times.

8) Rahab — Taken out before Jericho falls

Rahab (a Gentile believer) is:
• Sealed
• Removed
• Then judgment falls on the city

Again: rescued before destruction.

9) Daniel removed before the furnace

Daniel (a type of the Church) is absent from Daniel 3.

The three Hebrew men (Israel) go into the fire
Daniel (Church) is nowhere to be found

Exactly like Revelation: the Church is gone, Israel is refined.

10) The consistent rule

Throughout the OT:

God never pours out covenantal wrath on His redeemed people.

That is why:
• Enoch left
• Lot left
• Rahab left
• Ruth married
• Joseph’s bride secured
• Isaac’s bride sheltered
• Daniel absent
• Elijah taken

And then judgment comes.

Why this matters

The pre-tribulation rapture is not built on one verse — it is built on the entire architecture of Scripture.

It is how God has always worked.

“For God hath not appointed us to wrath…” (1 Thess 5:9)

If you want to be troubled for several days watch the movie/anti war/ "Threads"

It is on Youtube free.
I think every war monger should be made to watch it so they can be de-programmed.

The one who sits in the heavens will ridicule. The lord will deride them. Then He will speak to them in his anger, and He will terrify them in his wrath; Psalms 2:4-5

Thanks. You've piqued my interest. The "beyond disturbing" comment is giving me second thoughts, though! :) I'm traumatised enough by all the war-cheerleading done by some on threads like this one!

Certainly worth commenting - though. These people will probably serve as an excuse by the world to declare Christians the Nazis of tomorrow (tomorrow's Nazis will probably be known as Zionists).

Cheerleading and covering for evil is especially hard on a christian chat board by "believers" so called, that is for certain the absolute worst.

There was a thread "Hatred of the ***" when I think of the denial, deflection and the outright lies, that was the most disturbed I have ever been... did anyone ever go back to that thread and repent now that we have the full picture.
NOPE not a single one, and one person still denies it.

There is no word to describe how to feel about people who can look at evil and say it is good, or pretend it is justified.

The movie is not for everyone, it is a different type of horrifying, it was a challenge but I am glad I watched it, we need to be awake they have worked so hard to keep us in a state of slumber, that is my thinking anyway.

Oh and BTW, the PRE-TRIB rapture is the ONLY "order/rank" of resurrection where STILL LIVING believers are "TRANSFORMED".

Uh no. Scripture plainly witnesses otherwise. Any living believers are translated after the dead believers arise

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede them which are dead. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17

That would be taken in death.
So that is what you have concluded? Precisely the OPPOSITE of what Paul is clearly teaching? TWICE!
Well then I have no problem branding that false teaching of yours as an heresy!

1Th 4:15
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are ***ALIVE*** and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep (PHYSICAL DEATH).

1Th 4:17
Then we which are ***ALIVE*** and remain shall be caught up together with them (THOSE ***ASLEEP*** OF VERSE 15 WHO WERE JUST RESURRECTED AND TRANSFORMED MILLISECONDS BEFOREHAND) in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

*************************************************************

Hhhmmmm. Willfully promulgating heresies leaves you in some very bad company!

2Ti 2:17
And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;

2Ti 2:18
Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

Isn't it ironic that it's not the Soviet Union causing problems now, but the US and Israel?

Yeah, it is interesting how those news reports are going on in the background and people are going about their lives.

But what we see today is all part of of the eschatological plan put in motion many years ago, I am still thinking it is going to fail, but I worry if that settler colony feels threatened, they with will resort to using something from their nuclear arsenal.

Some analysts say no they will not use nukes because they want to rise as the new hegemony.
We shall see, cause there are always unintended consequences in war.

I'm half-convinced by many who claim that nuclear weapons (as described) don't exist, but this said, there are obviously still some pretty powerful bombs around. I believe the intent is to take the world to the edge - a minor or semi-minor "nuclear" exchange where the powers (which are really all in it together at the highest levels) attack key sites in each other's countries. Aim is to terrify the local populations, and either cause repentance in the rabid warmongers or at least condemnation of the unrepentant die-hard warmongers by the general population, and a push for and acceptance of world governance.

Sigh. So those are probably the choices - all out nuclear Armageddon, or fake all-out Armageddon to get people to submit to a one-world government.

While we're probably called pacifists and cowards today for not supporting the illegal destruction of Iran, tomorrow, we'll likely be called the opposite by the same IQ-level people for not supporting One-World Government to end all wars.

That would be taken in death.
A simple sequence even an infant could understand. But a disciple of Augustin could not.

1Th 4:16
1) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
2) and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

1Th 4:17
3) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
4) and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Interestingly, the major denominations get it wrong too. Bummer to be them!

Reformed theology rejects pre-trib, but so do:
Catholic
Orthodox
Lutheran
Anglican
Methodist

Yes, I have been meaning to look into that nuclear existence question...given the level of deception we already know exists.

Not sure about one world government.. more like several spheres of influence, but certainly a feudal slave state and survelience is what "they" would like to bring about.

Agree for sure on the last paragraph, I think Christians (who are now placing Christ Jesus lower on the veneration ladder) will be the first to submit because of who will be in charge..:sneaky:;)

Ultimately, whether they use one big bomb, or a sequence of smaller bombs, the outcome is mostly the same. I have read or heard that many of the sites of nuclear tests or accidents (e.g. Chernobyl) have returned and thrived within a matter of decades, which I think would be unusual if the concern about deadly radiation levels for hundreds or thousands of years were the full story.

The IRGC spent decades and trillions on these military projects.
Poof all gone in a month. And after all of this, the IRGC has the unmitigated gall to assert themselves as the bully of Hormuz demanding a toll for passing tankers as "reparations". Good luck with that!

Now there are the reparations the US is entitled to. IRGC will seethe and rage impotently, which is a bonus.

“We are obliterating their country. And I hate to do it, but we're obliterating it. They just don't want to say ‘uncle.’ They don't want to cry as the expression goes ‘uncle,’ but they will. And if they don't, They'll have no bridges. They'll have no power plants. They'll have no anything. I won't go further because there are other things that are worse than those two. And we might have, well, the thing, if I had my choice, what would I like to do? Take the oil because it's there for the taking. There's not a thing they can do about it. Unfortunately, the American people would like to see us come home. If it were up to me, I'd take the oil. I'd keep the oil. I would make plenty of money.“
