Ceasefire doesn't go into effect until Friday
Are there IRGC operatives working this thread? Asking for a friend.

The United States and Iran officially agreed to a two-week ceasefire late on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. The deal was reached just hours before a deadline set by President Trump for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

Key Details of the Agreement:
Effective Date: The ceasefire took effect immediately following the announcement on April 7/8.

Mediation: The deal was facilitated by Pakistan, specifically involving Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and military leadership.

Primary Terms:
An immediate halt to military hostilities between the U.S. (including Israel) and Iran.
Iran’s commitment to reopen the Strait of Hormuz for safe maritime passage.

I suppose now the IRGC cult discovers the finer details of reaping what you sow and learning the harsh lesson of how bad of an idea it is to go a backstabbing all your neighbors whom are not party to the ceasefire.
Well, it's high time the Gulf state dear leaders take their diapers off and put on their big boy pants and at least pretend to muster a military response.

Daddy Trump needs to take away their soother and blankey eventually.

Actually I think we have artificially kept them on the sidelines until now, again, so that there's not accidents like there was at the first in the fog of war. Indeed though, now is the time for them to repay the IRGC's mischief with interest.

The problem with killing all the leaders in Iran? Is that you don't have any leaders to negotiate with.

Iran BREAKS Trump’s Ceasefire… INSTANTLY REGRETS IT

Paul never wrote such a thing. All of Romans 9-11 is about the remnant that believes, ie, the elect that receives Christ. You are simply trying to replace the elect with disobedient branches, who Paul made clear are not the elect.
"Paul never wrote such a thing."

The connection of Isaiah 59:20-21 to Romans 11:25-27 is uncontested, unequivocal and absolute.

To say otherwise is......simply not rational nor sane.

Isa 59:20 - And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.

Rom 11:26 - And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

Yes, the Apostle Paul does quote Isaiah 59:20 in Romans 11:26, though he adapts the text slightly. This is a significant moment in Paul’s argument regarding the future restoration of Israel.

Key Observations:
"To" vs. "Out of": In the original Hebrew and most English translations of Isaiah, the Redeemer comes to Zion. Paul’s Greek rendering (following some manuscripts of the Septuagint or perhaps conflating it with Psalm 14:7) says the Deliverer comes out of Zion.

Conflation with Isaiah 27:9: Paul also appears to blend the end of Isaiah 59:20 with Isaiah 27:9 ("This is the blessing from Me to them, when I take away their sins"), which is a common practice in New Testament "stringing" of Old Testament pearls (charaz).

Theological Context:
Paul uses this quote to support his "mystery" that "all Israel will be saved." By citing Isaiah, he emphasizes that the salvation of Israel is not a new idea but part of the original covenant promises made by God.

Yes all Israel that believes will be saved. The unbelieving part (the partial hardening) are never saved. To state otherwise is just an extraordinary ignorance of the gospel and faith of Christ.
