You see @HeIsHere , your failure to rightly comprehend Gods eternal love for his brethren in the flesh Jacob leaves you at a grievous loss, this ignorance of you own will and choosing.

That would be incorrect He died for them too!

:)

Can we all just agree that we are one day away from a peace agreement and on the other hand we have been one day away for the last three months.

Well let's digress for a bit from the digression to the actual topic.

The Trump Cabinet Meeting is underway. Video is a livestream so may start at a random place on playback. We will all now see the outline of the future for the topic of Iran. Praise Jesus.

As is your habit, you have intentionally avoided the clear compelling intentional prophetic implications of Genesis 50 and the epic drama of Joseph and his brothers. As you do with all prophecy.

So you go right ahead and persist in trying to avoid the unavoidable, while I rejoice in His grace for the sake of Jacob.

BTW, you have never once offered much more than tepid and feeble one-liners in response to my exegetical treatments.
Make no mistake everyone see it for what it is.....Biblical illiteracy on display.

It's not complicated or hard to see. What makes it impossible to see in favor of worldly fulfillments is unbelief.

Joseph was betrayed by his brothers and sold into slavery
Jesus was betrayed by his brothers and sold into death

[Ye men of Israel,] Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: Acts 2:23

Joseph was exalted to the throne of Egypt
Jesus was exalted to the throne of God

This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. Acts 2:32-33

Joseph revealed himself to his brothers and forgave them and promised he would take care of them
Jesus revealed himself to his brothers and forgave them and promises to take care of them forever

Now when they [Jesus' brothers] heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the holy spirit. Acts 2:37-38
Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. Acts 2:41

Not really, it just extremely challenging for me to entertain any such ideas that the OT was not fulfilled in Christ Jesus... You should try it!

As we can see @ChristRoseFromTheDead has far more patience than me.

Well, I see that you have failed to submit this so far mythical and supposedly countervailing case to the bench yet again.

No lawyer in his right mind would consider such folly.

Jer 31:1 - “At that time,” declares the LORD, “I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they will be my people.”

Jer 31:11 - For the LORD will deliver Jacob and redeem them from the hand of those stronger than they.

Are you of the opinion that these passages (and chapter) pertain to the mystery yet to be revealed gentile bride Church?

Are you likewise telling us that the HUNDREDS of parallel passages pertain to and describe the mystery yet to be revealed gentile bride Church?

A simple yes or no answer will suffice for now.

Let's see. Jeremiah lived before and during the destruction of the kingdom of Judah by the Babylonian empire, and their subsequent exile and captivity in Babylon. He prophesied about those things and also about Israel's restoration from captivity and their prospering in the land of Israel again. Yet some people today think he was talking about something thousands of years in the future. smh

And the Nation Israel was NOT ***THEN*** sprouting new green leaf growth, rather the entire tree was getting chopped down to the roots!

Only to sprout again in the LATTER DAYS!

But we are the circumcision which worship God in the spirit and rejoice in Jesus Christ, having no confidence in the flesh.

Ridiculous. The fig tree was NOT sending up new green shoots in 33AD, 70AD, 133AD or anytime ***UNTIL*** this present era.
The predominant phenomenon of this present era being that the "times of the gentiles" are ending.

Which means that the prophetic clock has once again started ticking down to mid-NIGHT, the 7 year tribulation that initiates the 70th week of Daniel and the DOTL.

You know, your obstructionist prattle and irrational denials can clearly be seen for what they are:
Biblical illiteracy of the intentional kind. No rational actor on this thread is buying your snake oil.

This passage ALONE is proof positive that your assertions are utterly preposterous.
And it is one of HUNDREDS that can be added to it. I have already posted many that are likewise conclusive
beyond the slightest shadow of a doubt.

Isa 11:11
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

What has that to do with the end of the times of the gentiles and the beginning of the 70th week of Daniel, the time of Jacobs trouble, and the final redemption of the Sons of Jacob the Nation Israel?

Yes, the same thing Jeremiah prophesied about that was fulfilled when a remnant of the Babylonian exiles returned to Israel to build the temple the second time. Isaiah also prophesied about the Babylonian invasion and Israel's recovery from that.

Wrong again!

Isaiah 11:11 is very naturally read as an eschatological/final regathering of Israel, especially because the context is “in that day” AFTER the Messianic reign described in Isaiah 11:1–10.

The key phrase is:

“the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people…”
That strongly suggests a regathering beyond the first great national deliverance, namely the Exodus from Egypt. Isaiah is saying there will be another divine recovery of Israel, but this time from a much wider dispersion: Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and “the islands/coastlands of the sea.”

So, in a prophetic framework that includes Jacob’s trouble / the end-time tribulation, this fits very well with the final national restoration of Israel after severe judgment and dispersion.

The reason many interpreters say this has never been fully fulfilled historically is that:

  1. The return from Babylon was partial, mostly from Babylon/Persia, not from all the listed regions.
  2. The ten northern tribes were not nationally restored in any complete visible way.
  3. Isaiah 11 links this regathering with the reign of the Messianic “Branch” from Jesse, global righteousness, and peace among the nations.
  4. Isaiah 11:12 says He will gather both:

    “the outcasts of Israel”
    and
    “the dispersed of Judah”
That sounds like a reunited all-Israel restoration, not merely the post-Babylonian Judahite return.
  5. Isaiah 11:13 says the envy/hostility between Ephraim and Judah will end, implying a healed national division between northern Israel and Judah.
Jeremiah 31:31

“I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah…”

Ezekiel 37:16–22 depicts Judah and Joseph/Ephraim being reunited into one nation under one king.

The post-exilic return under Zerubbabel/Ezra/Nehemiah does not fulfill this prophecy.

The broader prophetic parallels would be:

Jeremiah 30:7 — “the time of Jacob’s trouble,” followed by deliverance.
Ezekiel 37 — dry bones, national resurrection, Judah and Ephraim reunited under one king.
Ezekiel 39:25–29 — God brings Israel back and pours out His Spirit.
Zechariah 12–14 — Israel’s final crisis, national repentance, and the LORD’s intervention.
Matthew 24:31 — angels gather the elect after the tribulation.
Romans 11:25–29 — national Israel’s future salvation/restoration rooted in covenant promise.

Game set match again folks. Why do the replacement theology crew keep coming back for more failure and defeat?

Luk 1:17
And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias (but he was not Elijah), to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

Mat 17:10
And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias (the original one....yet to be resurrected along with Moses) must first come?

Mat 17:11
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. (YET FUTURE).

Mat 17:12
But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. (THIS ELIAS DID ***NOT*** "RESTORE ALL THINGS")

Act 1:6
Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?”

Act 3:21
“whom heaven must receive ***until*** the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.

Mal 4:5
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet
Before the coming of the great and ***dreadful*** day of the LORD (YET FUTURE).

They were regathered at Pentecost. Those regions are listed in Acts

And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God. Acts 2:8-11
