What Rahab did by lying to save the spies took courage, the same as what it took Joshua to conquer Jericho. Obedience looks different to different people. If warfare demands murder (i.e. killing outside the commands of God) as you seem to accept, how much moreso tactics such as deception (lying, running or hiding)?
As I understand, Trump attacked a country under a flag of truce (negotiation). Irrespective of everything else, this is a war crime, and it follows that everything that results from the illegally instigated war is illegal (irrespective of all the other arguments against it). So even if you want to argue the case for a just war and that all the Iranian school girls and other civilians bombed were fair game, the war is still illegal, making every death resulting from the war a murder (even under the corrupt rules of man). Therefore, the heroic choice is to stand against such actions, for starters by not signing up or being coerced or forced into the same.
Hacksaw Ridge was a movie, and is not how real life works (at least not 99% of the time). Many of those who likely would or could have acted like that were executed as deserters or mutineers or similar (you earlier provided numbers of heroes who were murdered in previous wars, presumably, who signed up, then for conscience' sake or other legitimate reasons were not able to carry out the grotesque orders that were demanded of them). When you sign up, you sign up to obey any illegal order they give, at risk of penalty of death (not in theory, but in practice). God gives us freedom for a reason - don't waste it, and don't sign up.
