Not sure how this game of poker is going to go.
But we do know that Mojtaba Khamenei won't show his face in public, is utterly terrified for his own life, and probably suffering a mental breakdown in hospital somewhere out of the country.

Media reports say his wife, Zahra Haddad-Adel, and one of his two sons were killed in the airstrikes that began over two weeks ago over Iran's nuclear program. He also has a daughter - three children in total.

Mojtaba Khamenei's father, Ali Khamenei, who remained Supreme Leader till the end, was the first family member to die in the war. There are also reports that Mojtaba Khamenei's mother, Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh, was killed in one of the airstrikes.

So, the number of immediate family members of the new Supreme Leader killed in the war is four.

When the disciples asked the Lord if He was going to restore the kingdom to Israel at this time (Acts 1:6) their translation of the Bible changes verse seven to "Oh no, I am not going to restore the kingdom to Israel, I am going to replace Israel with the church".
From a linguistic standpoint, the Greek construction of the disciples' question and Jesus' subsequent answer strongly implies that the restoration of the kingdom is a certainty, even if the timing was withheld.

The precision of the Greek in Acts 1:6–7 provides three key grammatical markers that support the literal restoration of the nation:

1. The Verb Apokathistanis (Restore)
The disciples use the word ἀποκαθιστάνεις (apokathistaneis).
The Meaning: This is a compound of apo (back again) and kathistēmi (to set in order). In classical and Septuagint Greek, it specifically refers to reconstitution or returning something to its original, rightful state.
The Implication: You cannot "restore" something that never existed. By using this word, the disciples are referring to the specific, national, Davidic kingdom of the Old Testament. If Jesus intended to replace Israel with a "spiritual church," this would be a "replacement" or "new creation," not a restoration.

2. The Use of "Israel" (tō Israēl)
The disciples specify the beneficiary of this restoration: τῷ Ἰσραήλ (tō Israēl).
The Specificity: In the New Testament, when "Israel" is used without qualification in a historical or political context, it refers to the ethnic/national progeny of Jacob.
Jesus’ Non-Correction: Most tellingly, Jesus does not correct their terminology. He does not say, "You misunderstand; there is no kingdom for Israel." Instead, He addresses the chronology ("It is not for you to know times or seasons"). In logic, to dispute the timing of an event is to concede the reality of the event itself.

3. The Noun Chronos vs. Kairos (Times and Seasons)
In verse 7, Jesus says it is not for them to know the χρόνους (chronous) or καιρούς (kairous).
The Distinction: Chronos refers to chronological time (minutes, days, years), while kairos refers to "epochal" time or "the right moment."
The Fulfillment: By saying these times are "fixed by the Father's own authority," Jesus affirms that the "restoration" is a scheduled event on the Father’s calendar. If the restoration were never going to happen, there would be no "time or season" to keep secret.

“God has given them a spirit of stupor,
Eyes that they should not see
And ears that they should not hear,
To this very day.”

For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:

“The Deliverer will come out of Zion,
And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;
27 For this is My covenant with them,
When I take away their sins.”

That's simply saying that there's no reason for gentiles to boast that they are better than Jews because God cast them all away, because God didn't cast them all away. He always preserves a remnant who believes, thus the partial blindness, and any who repent and believe in Christ, his covenant will take away their sins just like with the gentiles. So he was simply telling them that they are no better than Jews who were cast away because of unbelief, because they too will be cast away if they don't continue to believe.

I know what's it's saying, it's saying YOU don't replace the Jews.

What he did say is that he was going to replace an earthly nation ruled by men with a kingdom born of the spirit that is ruled by God himself. And that he did and is doing in fulfillment of his word. Glory to God.

How is the regme suppose be replaced with democracy, if a peace deal is made? I admit it's better to just end the blood shed.

I can see this recklessness motivating China to accelerate its Belt and Road project through the Wakhjir Pass in Afghanistan to extend a pipeline from Iran to China. 200,000,000 soldiers have to get into the Middle East somehow
