Seems we will know the answer if we begin seeing military being sent to the ports and ships being loaded. We have about 50,000 troops in the region counting Navy,Marine and Amy but Iran is at around 610,000 active troops. Gotta have way more than 50,000 and that will take weeks to months to move them from here to there.

If that starts happening, they'll be sitting ducks for Iran's missiles.

What missiles?

Oh yeah, they have some gummy worm missiles that fool everyone and everything.

I am impressed with Trumps patience, hope and restraint for Irans "wake UP."

A half a day of unleashing what the United States of America really has.......would take out Iran completely. One is living in a pipe dream to think otherwise.

I'm confident the US military would in the end be strong enough to be victorious but in the end loose another completely different war. China is just sitting there watching Russia become weakened of SP status in the war in Ukraine. Their watching NATO and the US bicker back and forth and the NATO trust of one anther fall apart. In the war in Afghanistan and Iraq the cost to the US debt is between 6.5 to 8 trillion added to the US debt. The US debt is at 39 trillion dollars but if 6.5 trillion is added over the Iran war it would be 45.5 trillion but that doesn't take other debt in the US Gvt. into consideration. If another trillion was added for other Government per year over 10 years the total would be 55.5 trillion of debt. Russia is strapped for cash and seemingly about to end the war in Ukraine. The EU(27 members) has a current 15.4 trillion debt but will climb as fast as it begins building up it's military because they now need to defend themselves. China on the other hand is at around 18 trillion but they are building up technology and advancements in AI,robotics drones ect. much faster than the US or other nations. So if China continues to make advancements in AI or Quantum AI at a quicker pace than the US as they have over the last 10 years over the next 10 years by just staying out of the different wars and continue watching the US,Russia and EU become more and more in debt and farther behind in research than themselves they will then be the lone Superpower in the end. All they have to do is keep doing what they are doing and building up their advancements while we stretch ours out and ours gets older and older while theirs gets newer and newer and more advanced.

Love your way of thinking Squig! I wouldn't worry about China though, the Mandate of Heaven will strike the godless communist pigs to the ground and a great dynasty of Chinese characteristics will rise in the dawn of our last golden age. Praise Jesus.

And topically China might prove useful to getting the smitten remnant of the IRGC curs to have some sense after the valiant American and Israeli knights slapped them silly for their foolish crimes against humanity in doing a massacre and trying to lie about it to even the face of Heaven. Trump will be meeting Xi supposely soon.

XI is moving his troops down the Cumberland river and surrounding fort Donaldson J Trump, cutting him off from reinforcements, supplies and an escape route. The end will be the same a total surrender all because of over confidence and pride.

Oh Squiggy, I dare them and all their democrat bribed officials to try it. Me and my merry men will be ready.

Time will tell. He will take the bait and invade Iran or he will be wise and scale this all down and live to fight another day. If not it ends the same where thousands sit there with their cannons and guns ready to defend the fort and the attack never comes. In the end the whole rest of the war goes on around them until there's no one left on their side to give aid. It always ends the same and only the overconfident and prideful fall for it.

Just make sure to follow my plans this time, make sure Ejei and Radan die or are arrested and confined in USA or Israel at the very least. Anything after this is a bonus, but they must die to put away God's wrath for the massacre and the lies that they committed.

When you see an actual invasion force of 200,000 plus US troops sitting in the region flags should go up that invading Iran might be a reality. Until then it's nothing more than puffed up talk designed to get the little rabbits excited. From the beginning to the end we never had the things sitting off Iran's coast to overthrow Iran.

We could have invaded them with 10,000. With 50,000 we could occupy whatever. Numbers confer no advantage. Really the regime has already been irrevocably broken, it's a shattered remnant of itself, a mere cardboard idol. The question on invasion and occupation hinges on two main things; Pahlavi if he wants to return and we try to oversee a transition to sane democracy, and whether or not we want to just take Kharg Island. These things are not neccessary though, all that is neccessary is to kill God's enemies and bring to justice, Ejei and Radan.

Smells like somebody's eating Charms if you ask me,lol.
Iraq had the 4th largest army in the world in the first Gulf War and we had way less troops than even the 10,000. They didn't have the 4th largest army in the world no more after it though. We only used like 170,000 troops to invade Iraq and that was a fullblown invasio nand occupation, which is decidedly not going to happen in Iran. If Pahlavi wants an honorguard we will do it, if not, and we want the oil we take Kharg Island and dare the IRGC to destroy it and essentially send themseleves back to the time era of the Shahanemeh where they will lose there too, 10,000 would have been sufficient, 50,000 is overkill. Or send in none of them, and just kill Ejei and Radan topunish them from Heaven and consider the Hegseth double-tap of Mojtaba so they can never talk to the Mahdi again or if he is missing his eye let all the muslim world think he is the Dajjal.

lets see, it weighs about 7 pounds, fits in 7 pockets and adds up to 210. Divided by 610,000 that means, hmm?
The discussion in the thread reflects the high-stakes atmosphere of May 2026, with the region still reeling from the events of Operation Epic Fury (February–May 2026). The debate between "Squigglylines" and "SonJudgment" touches on several key geopolitical and economic realities of this current moment.

The Military Standbalance

The troop numbers being cited are surprisingly accurate for the current theater:

  • US Presence: There are indeed roughly 50,000 US troops currently in the Middle East—about 10,000 more than the pre-conflict baseline.

  • Iranian Strength: Iran’s active military personnel sit at approximately 610,000, split between the conventional army and the IRGC.

  • The Conflict Status: Following the ceasefire on April 7–8, the focus has shifted to a "game of brinkmanship" over the Strait of Hormuz. While "Kroogz" expresses confidence in US dominance, the threat of Iran’s missile arsenal remains a primary deterrent for a full-scale ground invasion.

The Economic Backdrop

Squigglylines’ concerns about the national debt are grounded in the latest Treasury data:

  • The $39 Trillion Mark: As of early May 2026, the US gross national debt is sitting at approximately $38.91 trillion and is projected to hit the $39 trillion milestone by next week (mid-May).

  • Strategic Overreach: The argument that prolonged war aids China’s rise is a central theme in current policy debates. With the US and EU distracted by regional conflicts and rising debt, China has been aggressively pushing forward in Quantum AI and robotics.

Key Figures & Diplomatic Moves

The "SonJudgment" focus on specific Iranian officials and the upcoming summit is timely:

  • Ejei and Radan: Gholam-Hossein Mohseni Ejei (Judiciary Head) and Ahmad Reza Radan (Police Chief) have both recently doubled down on internal crackdowns, with Ejei vowing "extraordinary legal proceedings" against those cooperating with "invading enemies" just a few days ago (May 9).

  • The Trump-Xi Summit: President Trump is indeed scheduled to meet with Xi Jinping in Beijing on May 14–15. While the thread suggests China is "cutting off" Trump, official agendas suggest the meeting will focus on trade, AI safety, and potentially a more permanent resolution to the Iran conflict to stabilize global oil prices.

What's Next?

The "7-7-210" riddle at the end likely refers to the standard loadout of an M4 carbine (7 magazines of 30 rounds), a cynical nod to the idea that individual bravery or small-unit tactics are being weighed against the sheer mass of a 600,000-strong defense force.

With the Strait of Hormuz still under a partial blockade and the Beijing summit just days away, the "puffed up talk" Squigglylines mentions will either lead to a historic diplomatic "deal" or a significant escalation.

lets see, it weighs about 7 pounds, fits in 7 pockets and adds up to 210. Divided by 610,000 that means, hmm?
The riddle at the end of the thread is a cynical calculation regarding the Standard Combat Load of a U.S. infantryman compared to the size of the Iranian military.

Here is the breakdown of the components Squigglylines is referencing:

  • "Weighs about 7 pounds": This refers to the M4 Carbine, the standard-issue rifle for U.S. ground forces, which weighs approximately 6.5 to 7 lbs (unloaded/with accessories).
  • "Fits in 7 pockets": This refers to the standard ammunition carriage. A U.S. soldier typically carries 7 magazines: one in the rifle and six in pouches (often referred to as "pockets" in a chest rig or load-bearing equipment).
  • "Adds up to 210": This is the standard basic load (SBL) of ammunition. Since each standard magazine holds 30 rounds, $7 \times 30 = 210$ rounds of 5.56mm ammunition.
  • "Divided by 610,000": This is the number of active Iranian troops mentioned earlier in the thread.

The Meaning of the Math

When Squigglylines asks what 210 divided by 610,000 means, he is pointing out a "mathematical impossibility" of a small ground force winning a traditional war:

$$\frac{210}{610,000} \approx 0.000344$$
His point is that if a single U.S. soldier was deployed with their standard supply of ammunition, they would only have 0.0003 of a bullet for every enemy soldier.

Alternatively, if you look at the 50,000 U.S. troops currently in the region:

  • Total ammo for the force: $50,000 \times 210 = 10,500,000$ rounds.
  • Rounds per enemy: $10,500,000 / 610,000 \approx 17$ rounds.
In military logic, where it often takes thousands of rounds fired to secure a single casualty in modern combat (due to suppressive fire), Squigglylines is arguing that the current U.S. presence is a "paper tiger"—it has enough equipment for a skirmish, but nowhere near the "math" required to "overthrow" or occupy a nation with 610,000 active defenders. He is essentially calling the idea of a 50,000-man invasion a "pipe dream."
