Malachi: "Elijah is coming"
Jesus: "Elijah came"
cv5: "There are 2 Elijahs"
me: "lulz"
Can we say that despising Israel and supplanting them by means of bogus replacement theology dogma brings about blindness to Biblical truths? Yes we can. In fact this thread is chock full of this very thing making itself known in real time.

Mat 17:11
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.

Act 3:21
“whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.

Including Ezekiel chapters 40 thru 48.

lol there weren't any gentiles saved at Pentecost. It was all Israel and Judah
As usual, a pathetic dodge.

Nothing was "restored" at Pentecost.
Certainly not the kingdom to Israel.
On the contrary it was ruined UNTIL the times of the GENTILES be fulfilled.

No rational actor fails to understand the prophetic implications of the ending of the times of the GENTILES.

This inevitable reality can only be ignored, as well the Ezekiel 37 dry bones prophecy fulfillment happening right before the very eyes of the entire world.

What has that to do with the Nation Israel being saved after the Church age has ended in the rapture?
Like many other passages of the NT it challenges everything you believe about what the nation of Israel is in the first place.
You seem to have some intellectual pride in your prophetic interpretations, but I no see the need to engage with them. So what if I am right or wrong about Elija? The foundations need to be right, or all other effort will be wasted.

Israel is a people. The elect believing remnant of them was most definitely restored at Penetcost through the new covenant removal of their sins. The rest were blinded and broken off from the covenant. You think only in terms of material things because you resist the holy spirit.

Wrong again! Romans 11 was written long after Pentecost. You had best warm up your migraine meds so you can slog thru some actual biblically sound scholarship.

In Romans 11:27, Paul is quoting a composite of Old Testament prophecy (primarily Isaiah 59:21 and Isaiah 27:9). To determine if this refers to a future reality, we have to look at the Greek verbal aspect and the specific construction of the sentence.

The Greek text for the clause "when I shall take away their sins" is:

ὅταν ἀφέλωμαι τὰς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν

Here is the breakdown of why the grammar points toward a future prophetic fulfillment:

1. The Use of "Hotan" (ὅταν) with the Subjunctive
The word translated as "when" is ὅταν (hotan). In Greek grammar, hotan combined with a subjunctive verb (in this case, aphelōmai) creates a Future Contingent Clause.

Unlike the word hote (which refers to a specific time in the past or present), hotan introduces an event that is expected to happen in the future but is contingent upon certain conditions being met.

In the context of Romans 11, that condition is the "coming of the Deliverer out of Zion" mentioned in the previous verse.

2. The Aorist Subjunctive (aphelōmai)
The verb ἀφέλωμαι (aphelōmai) is the Aorist Middle Subjunctive of aphaireō.

The Aorist Aspect: While the Aorist often denotes past tense in the indicative mood, in the subjunctive mood, it refers to a "summary" action that has not yet occurred. It views the "taking away of sins" as a complete, definitive event that will take place at a point in the future.

You actually believe that every OT prophecy was about the "mystery gentile Bride Church"?

:rolleyes::oops:

Act 3:21 - Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

No legit Bible student would make the audacious claim that everything and every prophecy ever codified in the OT pertained to the hidden mystery gentile Bride Church.

But you do. Relentlessly.

Do you actually believe that the first Christians weren't Israel?
Do you actually believe that Cornelius and the Corinthians and Ephesians were Israelites?

Oh and BTW, the primary purpose of the Second Coming of Christ ***AND SECOND COMING OF ELIJAH*** is the final redemption of His brethren the ethnic Nation Israel. Who are already pre-gathered in their own land per Ezekiel 37 despite your ludicrous denials.

You are so far gone you do not even rightly comprehend the scenario of the Second Coming.

The bending is close but at the same time the cult doesn't want to give up their weapons grade nuclear spice dust. A blockade is nice, but they need to be knocked on the head to be convinced still to be convinced of the common sense to change their minds. I remind that Trump in his Cabinet Meeting did suggest we can dispose of it in place for them or take it if they don't give it to China. Praise Jesus.

Yes, it is simply a remake of the movie Groundhog day.
