It has been my opinion that the ceasefire was little more than a stalling tactic — a feint by which the USA and the IDF could replenish depleted weapons stores, gather intelligence, regroup, and then re-engage to achieve their objectives.
With God's help I hope they wipe them off the map. They've been given every chance. Now it's time to bring down the hammer.
With the more relevant subtopic of Lebanon and Hezbollah, I would note that Trump recently met with the President of Syria, and we know Trump has in the early days of attempting the MoU floated the possibility of letting the Syrian sunnis take care of the shia terrorists in Lebanon. That's not saying that's what will happen, but it just seems mighty coincidental that Trump has a glowing meeting with the Syrian president just the other day.
It's partly right but that's just a cynical view and superficial. It's important Israel tried this, they humbled their ego somewhat and adhered to Trump's command to try the ceasefire. It's more than just about authority and ego, it shows Israel is maturing, it shows they are capable of self-correction and can get over their Merchant of Venice mindset era to be not just rulers of the land in name and politics, but even just spiritually, true stewards of the land and people God has entrusted them to govern. The fact Iran lied and betrayed the MoU so many times is also profoundly powerful, it shows they deserve what they're about to get, it shows their regime is an illegitimate cult with an unprofessional army of nothing more than thugs really, their regime reaches its end, he who is better than they to rule the land and the people responsibly must take their place.
Do both. The illegitimate cult that is on its way out anyways really cannot be trusted to hold either one of these islands. America, and ideally a coalition of the Gulf countries that Iran has been attacking (which is literally just all of them) could also participate, the coalition could hold the islands in trust for the next legitimate regime, ideally a regime formulated by Pahlavi returning, formally abdicating the legitimate monarchy, and participating in the drafting of a new more modern republican constitution. They won't become like the West, but as the example of multiple middle east countries that have modernized in just the past decade show they can keep culture and just not be you know literally making State policy decisions and their foreign policy based on the Supreme Leader claiming to be talking to the dead.

The Greek is perfectly clear that Israel’s present national hardening is neither total nor permanent. It continues only until the full complement of the Gentiles has entered. Once the divinely appointed roster of the Church has been completed, Israel’s national blindness will be removed, culminating in the salvation of all Israel at the return of her Deliverer.

- ἀπὸ μέρους — “in part,” meaning neither every individual Israelite nor a permanent, total rejection.
- ἄχρι οὗ — “until which time,” establishing a temporal boundary.
- πλήρωμα τῶν ἐθνῶν — the fullness, full complement, or completed number of the Gentiles.
- εἰσέλθῃ — “shall have entered in,” an aorist subjunctive indicating the completion of the anticipated entrance.
Paul therefore describes Israel’s national hardening as partial and temporary, not permanent. It continues until the Gentile fullness has entered.
Verse 26 then supplies the result:
Thus, Paul’s sequence is:
Israel’s partial hardening → the completed Gentile ingathering → Israel’s national salvation.
God is presently calling out a predominantly Gentile body, the Church, and when that body reaches its divinely determined fullness, the present hardening of national Israel will end.
Individual Jewish people can—and do—believe during the present age; Paul himself is the immediate proof in Romans 11:1–5. What awaits in the future is not the first salvation of any Jewish individual, but the removal of Israel’s corporate or national hardening.
