Having listened to Rob Bell speak and reading a book of his a while ago, I was really saddened to hear about his warped line of thought in more recent years...in my opinion he has really lost the plot. Just wondered what others think. Bless you all.

I figure he probably has things about as accurately as do the many other people who see things THEIR way, who are assured THEY are the ones who have it right.
 
As per usual we have a wolf protector here to vouch for Bell, and btw, your "figurer" is off.

Rob Bell is a straight up apostate, try knowing what you're talking about. And yes, thanks, by the grace of God I have the Gospel right.

Now, some may just need to run along and play with their several gospels and their pluralism. Who knows, maybe one of those gospels is right, or several of them? I and many others will stick with the one true Gospel. Thanks. ;)
 
Like I said earlier, I find it very very sad that he has gotten so muddled and I pray he gets things straightened out so he can continue to encourage others to follow Jesus ' s teaching. People can be deceived into thinking they are right when they are not - by adding their own ideas to the Bible. In my opinion, when someone directly contradicts words that were spoken by Jesus Christ then no good will come of their endeavours, even if it seems like it. I am surprised how things have turned out with Rob Bell.

I have to ask why you are so surprised that Bell is apostate? Do you really know where he came from with his emergent church philosophy? I don't think you really know Rob Bell, because with all due respect if you did know the background you'd not be surprised. That is, unless you believe that truth is up for grabs and that we cannot make solid assertions from Scripture.
 
The NOOMA series was approved of highly by people leading church groups that I know, and also the talks given at Greenbelt Christian festival went down very well.
 
I don't ever recall anything about Rob Bell's beliefs that wasn't completely off the rails. He and anyone associated with him should be watched very carefully. There aren't many forces more destructive to the church than him.

OK, so is high praise the measure, or Scripture? Please answer this, and provide actual Scriptural evidence for support of his actual teachings, not praise from others as proof.

Just because people are leading church groups doesn't necessitate that they are sound in doctrine. In today's church, if they gathered to see Bell, they are most likely apostate as well.

Rob Bell is an apostate - and you've approved of his teachings in the past. Please research, study, and reconsider.

Do you even know what his emergent church teachings are, where they came from, the view of Scripture held? He has also taught heresy concerning Mithra and Attis claiming resurrection prior to Christ, defaming the only one true resurrection.

Your posts often seem so lost that I doubt you would recognize truth if it came up and bit you on the backside. LOL
 
He was presented to me multiple times as someone to learn from, and so I think it strange how things have turned out. I am not one of those people who go around questioning other's salvation as that goes against Bible teaching.
 
Look at the video preacher4truth posted. I don't think it's unreasonable to have many doubts about what he believes, and it's belief that decides whether we're saved or not.
