Luke 3:8

8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
KJV
Luke 18:22-24

22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.

24 And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
KJV
Matt 6:24

24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
KJV
Rom 12:1
12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
KJV
Matt 21:28-31

28 But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.

29 He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.

30 And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.

31 Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

Salvation - one must not hold anything back from God!
You will need to do more than simply quote those passages in order to make the connection.

Well, I see the apostles as preaching the same way in their books of the Bible that followed the 3 gospel books of the Bible, too.

Well, I see the gospel Jesus preached to be the same the rest of the New Testament preaches.
To me, it looks like the teachings of Jesus were also taught throughout the whole New Testament.

1 John 3:24

24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
KJV

2 Cor 7:10

10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
KJV

I believe God repents a great deal in the bible and its not what these legalists and church manipulators preach.

I agree. I believe that anyone who holds back part of themselves from God when they go to their knees to repent, confess and receive salvation through the blood of Jesus, are not going to receive salvation.

God want ALL. Not part.
Hebrews 13:15
Titus 2:7
Ecclesiastes 4:9
Matthew 22:36 - 40
Isaiah, Chapter 34
Proverbs, Chapter 31
Proverbs 6:6
Psalms 139: 1-21
Psalms 118:8
Psalms 100:1-5
Psalms 67:1-7
Ephesians 5:15,16
1 Corinthians 1:18
John 4:23

Matthew 22:21 kind of sums it up for me.

They *said to Him, “Caesar’s.” Then He *said to them, “Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s; and to God the things that are God’s.

All that we have belongs to God, for He gave us all we have!

The word "repent" when speaking of God - in the Bible doesn't have to do with repenting of sin. It just means that God changed His course of action. But the word, "repent" always has to do with repenting of sin, when speaking of humans in the Bible.

No. No one is capable of becoming completely sinless - only Jesus was capable of that. But we are to to prayerfully - always do our best to obey God in all things, and to faithfully and sincerely daily repent of all unintentional sins we do. If we do that, God counts us "as if we have not sinned." But it is His grace that pardons us always. But He doesn't pardon sins that are not sincerely repented of. To repent means to want to obey and to plan to do one's best to obey God, always prayerfully - as no victory in life comes from just ourselves - but from God. We're just humans - but greatly need God in this life.

Which verses do you see that say all of our sins were not dealt with on the cross? And that After we are saved ,we have to have an ongoing sacrifice for our future sins that need atoning for . So is it like the catholic idea of having to die in a ' state of grace ' . Kinda like Jesus has really just opened the way for us ,but we have to do our bit to maintain our salvation?

Heb 6:4-6

4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
KJV

The above passage shows that those who willfully sin and turn away from God - are no longer covered by Jesus' sacrifice for sins which He paid on the cross. Not unless they come to repentance again. And His sacrifice on the cross is of no benefit to those who refuse to repent and accept God's salvation through Jesus.

Catholics are gravely in error through not trusting in Jesus alone for the forgiveness of sins. They pray and ask Mary for forgiveness. That is heresy.

Actually, if you believe this passage is for the body of Christ (I do not), then repentance is impossible after falling away. Verse 6.

This can only be directed to the Hebrews in the last days. The falling away is taking the mark of the beast in which one is surely condemned for eternity. There is no repentance for taking the mark.
