He died for all the sins, past , present, and future.
That means that grace, that unmerited favor is available to everyone ever born. So if they choose the wide path, they choose the wide path by what i could say is a kind of state of grace . Faith is key that opens that unmerited favor. A continually surrendered life.
It is only available to those who, by God's grace, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. You say that faith is the key that opens that unmerited favour, but how does a sinner "dead in trespasses and sins" as Paul puts in in Ephesians 2 manage to have faith?

The call of the Father. Basic Christianity.
And if the Father doesn't call someone, there is still a chance they could be saved.

When they asked Jesus why He spoke in parables, He replied, I speak in parables so you can hear and they can't, so they might not accidentally turn, repent , and i would have to save them.

The Grace needed for anyone has already been fulfilled.

And the words believe, believer, and believing are mistranslations. No such thing as receiving the Spirit of Christ by just believing.

They manage to have faith by the call of the Father, that person dead to sin, turns from their way to the direction of the caller in their mind, thats repentance. Then they take a first step in faith towards the caller by making a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender.

That continually surrendered life, or faith, starts, maintains, and completes the salvation journey.

Abc's of faith. And act, a personal surrender to Him, based upon a belief, that He will accept the surrendered life, sustained by confidence that our continually surrendered life based upon the fact we really do consider our life and will to be His now, not ours anymore. He is looking for genuine faith, not perfect faith. Jesus the first goer of faith already provided that.

Where is this coming from David,
Basic Christianity, Jesus bought the entire field to get the treasure of it. He paid the price for all sins, past present , and future.

Where did this group come from that thinks He only bought part of the field?

I've never heard that before.

God graces every accountable sinner with faith/MFW, but only those who exercise their faith by choosing to repent of ignoring God's Word and to love Jesus as Messiah/Lord until death satisfy God's requirement/condition/IF for salvation (GRFS).

My Scriptural support is this:

The normative way of stating the kerygma/GRFS in the NT is “Accept Christ Jesus as Lord” (as in Acts 16:31, 2Cor. 4:5 & Col. 2:6) or “Love Jesus as Messiah and Lord” (John 8:42). The main points of Christian orthodoxy implicit in these statements can be explained or elaborated as follows:

1. There is a/one all-loving and just Lord or God (Deut. 6:4, John 3:16, 2Thes. 1:6), who is both able (2Tim. 1:12) and willing (1Tim. 2:3-4, Ezek. 33:11) to provide all morally accountable human beings salvation or heaven—a wonderful life full of love, joy and peace forever.
2. Human beings are selfish or sinful (Rom. 3:23, 2Tim. 3:2-4, Col. 3:5), miserable (Gal. 5:19-21), and hopeless (Eph. 2:12) or hell-bound at the judgment (Matt. 23:33 & 25:46) when they reject God’s salvation (John 3:18, Rom. 2:5-11).
3. Jesus is God’s Messiah/Christ and incarnate Son, the way that God has chosen (John 3:16, Acts 16:30-31, Phil. 2:9-11) of providing salvation by means of his atoning death on the cross for the payment of the penalty for the sins of humanity (Rom. 3:22-25 & 5:9-11), followed by his resurrection to reign in heaven (1Cor. 15:14-28).
4. Thus, every person who hears the NT Gospel needs to repent and accept God’s justification in Jesus as Christ/Messiah the Lord or Supreme Commander (Luke 2:11, John 14:6, Acts 16:31), which means trying to obey (Phil. 3:12, 1John 1:8) His commandment to love one another (Matt. 22:37-40, John 13:35, Rom. 13:9)—forever (Matt. 10:22, Psa. 113:2).
5. Then God’s Holy Spirit will establish a saving relationship with those who freely accept Him (Rev. 3:20) that will eventually achieve heaven when by means of persevering in learning Truth/God’s Word/sanctification everyone cooperates fully with His will (John 14:6, 17&26, Rom. 8:6-17, Gal. 6:7-9, Eph. 1:13-14, Heb. 10:36, 12:1, Jam. 1:2-4). Such cooperation can be termed “the surrendered life”.
6. This creed summarizes revelation of the NT Gospel/Truth (Matt. 26:13, John 14:6), which fulfilled the OT revelation (Matt. 5:17, John 19:30, Heb. 7:11-10:10) and culminates the search for salvation by souls who know only general revelation (Rom. 1:20, 2:14-16, Matt. 7:12). Seeking begins when souls love truth/repent of false beliefs (2Thes. 2:10&13, Matt. 4:17, 7:7), which is the Way to eternal life God wills, who is the Lord Jesus (Matt. 7:14, John 1:14, 4:24, 14:6). Lacking this love leads to believing lies and debauchery (Matt. 7:6, Rom. 1:18&25-26, 2Thes. 2:11-12).

How does your view differ and what is the Scriptural support for that?

Of course, not just the call, but the drawing of the Father:

(Joh 6:44 NKJV) No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Notice that those the Father draws actually come to Christ, and He will raise them up at the last day.

If your saying everyone the Father calls out comes to Christ and is sealed with the Holy spirit, I don't support that, I think like in the parable of the sower, only 1 out of 4 will complete the faith journey.

I see the call and drawing are the same.

I was under the impression you were with the group here that is saying Christ only paid for the sins of those called. Not for the sins of the world.

Apparently you have never read Scripture with an open mind seeking to learn the truth.
If salvation is not possible, then sinners cannot justly/logically be blamed for not seeking it.
What kind of God would condemn humanity to hell? Not a kind God.
What sort of person would choose to believe in a hateful God?
Those who project their own hatred onto God and are hell-bound for such heresy.

Faith isn't necessary in heaven; we will have sight and direct experience.
1 Corinthians 13:12
Now we see but a dim reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face.

We are changed in the blink of an eye and we become eternal just like Jesus.

In heaven faith and hope are redundant.

Inexpressible happiness and divine love for eternity.

So Grace through Faith, unmerited favor through a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender doesn't fly with you?

No faith required?
Saved by grace at all times and that grace is channeled through faith and that's not of yourselves.

Salvation is a free gift given to you when you believe in Jesus Christ.

How do we know this is true?

Because the Holy Spirit you have received is the guarantee the seal of your membership in Christ.

Then your Christian life begins.

Christ is the author of your salvation.

Saved is not the issue, it’s walking it out after you get saved. Most of us got saved without understanding it all. It’s kind of like paying for something. You know that if you pay, then you get what you pay for (in essence). We all heard the salvation message, God stirred our hearts, we decided to give (pay/ exercise faith) what it took to get the reward (Jesus/ Salvation). Most everyone has a different experience
Not sure what your point is but the question is rather simple.

Does the phrase "saved by faith" mean the same as "saved by faith alone"?

How about this.

Does the phrase "I am going to the store" mean the same as "I am going to the store alone"?

Again, it is not a hard question to answer unless you are trying to defend a certain theology.

People who are bound to faith alone regeneration theology are forced to add "alone" into rather simple and general verses in order to have some validity to their narrative.

As a result, they are also forced to negate other verses that speak of obedience as part the gospel.

Unfortunately, the Koine Greek word used some 240 times is Pistis and not Pisteuo.

As a feminine singular third-declension noun, pistis functions grammatically as a substantive in various case roles
(nominative, genitive, dative, accusative) within English translations.

You are considering the context of the N.T when attempting to convert the insitu Greek noun into a Greek verb.

I do understand your preference but the strict literal translation must take place in any translation.

No single English word captures every occurrence.

Believe is the most literal translation of the verb and is the traditional rendering.

Trust often communicates the intended meaning better where the object is Christ, because the New Testament speaks of personal reliance rather than mere acknowledgment. Jesus is not a concept but God Himself.

Have faith in is also accurate but less concise.

Rely upon captures the practical force in many contexts.

You must retract what you said below.

Theres no such thing as believing in Jesus that will result in receiving the Holy spirit.

Simply because when someone hears the gospel of Jesus Christ and believes then they receive the Holy Spirit.

This baby in Christ knows nothing of the required obedience to the apostolic instruction in their Christian life.

You have the cart before the horse.

Well since you seem to think you know what faith is, tell me what happens when you received the mind of Christ. What physical thing happened to you when His mind entered yours?

Of course you have no idea what I'm talking about. Gods word doesn't go into detail when that happens, it has to happen to you for you to know. And when it happens to you, you can also see it when it's in others.

You should have kept reading, pistis is used 245 times, pisteuo is used an additional 248 times.

Trust this surrendered life, the faith that saves is a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender, i would bet the mind of Christ on it.

You're right, I am. The idea that Christ somehow "paid for" the sins of those who end up in hell, paying for their own sins doesn't make sense. There is a hymn by Augustus Toplady which includes this verse:

If thou hast my discharge procured
And freely in my place endured
The whole of wrath divine,
Payment God cannot twice demand,
First at my bleeding Surety's hand
And then again at mine.

Jesus Christ making the payment on behalf of the sinners He saves is why in the Bible He is called the Redeemer, and why His death on the cross is referred to as a ransom.
