I suggest you find the Vines and Strongs and take a good look. None of what you defined is in either one of them.
It is applicable. I was defining what faith does in salvation. Not what it is as for its definition in isolation.
Faith comes by hearing the Word of God!

Hearing = perceiving its meaning.I have used Vines and Strongs. I own copies. I have other reference books too.
They can help in determining the root meaning of certain words, but can not tell you how the context in which they are found, effects their meaning in the passage.
