Really? And we don't have to take all scripture in context now?
So, I guess Peter and Paul had no idea of what Jesus said there before the Cross when they preached the gospel of the grace of Christ?
Look at the word-for-word accounts of the true gospel of Christ being preached and no where does it say to "forgive first or you will not be forgiven" I'll give you the exact scripture references . Peter - Acts 10:43 and Paul Acts 13:38
Have you ever heard Billy Graham say " Forgive people first before you come to receive Christ's forgiveness"?..of course not..it is anti-the gospel.
It is extremely important to read all scriptures in their context - even the words of Jesus. I understand this conflicts with some of our religious beliefs passed on by mad-made traditions which nullify the grace of God.
The Cross of Christ changed from living according to law and we are now in the grace of Christ for forgiveness. It is not based on us. We forgive because we are forgiven - it's in our nature now.

Yes we have to read in context, otherwise we will be conned by those who give their own interpretations to the text to make void what Jesus said in order to give their dogma and traditions of men preeminence.

What we are seeing here,and other threads is a collision of Grace and ordinances,or law.

We are saved UNCONDITIONALLY.
WE WALK OUT THIS FREE SALVATION IN HEAVENS PROTOCOL.

What was step one of the first church?
Doctrine? NO
Deliverance NO
Evangelism. NO
Ordinances. NO
It was EQUIPPING.
The anointing breaks the YOKE. Jesus knew the church WOULD NOT SURVIVE outside the anointing.
It was Pauls coveted prize,right behind JESUS,and his intimate walk.
There are 3 levels of anointing.
Salvation. Or leapers anointing.
Priestly. Or the baptism in the HOLY SPIRIT.
Kingly. Or both anointings,combined with intimacy,and OBEDIENCE.

What Jesus said takes preeminence over anything Peter or Paul said. IF the two conflict in your mind, then you have a problem understanding what Peter and Paul wrote.
So, you are saying that Peter and Paul had it wrong when they preached the gospel? How can we mis-interpret the scriptures that talk about forgiveness after the Cross?

So, Peter and Paul did preach the true gospel of the grace of Christ and that we did not have to forgive others before we receive God's forgiveness in Christ.
This is the truth about forgiveness after the Cross or how do you get around all this?

If I said it once, I'll say it again. Those who deny the words of God as true also deny Jesus Christ.
I'm absolutely positive they said that those that believe in Christ's name have forgiveness of sins - they didn't say to forgive first did they before coming to receive forgiveness.

CONTEXT, CONTEXT, CONTEXT!!! You can't just pull random verses out of scripture, you have to look at the whole context of the Bible or the "con" man will get you.
here we are people, as I pointed out a while back, setting scripture AGAINST scripture. pure false teaching heresy.
This is just a ludicrous way of interpreting scripture. It's like saying we don't have to love because Peter and Paul didn't mention it when they told gentile pagans to repent and believe.
First repent, then believe, now (and for all time) obey Jesus' words.

Did you obey Jesus' words when He said to "Go and preach the gospel in Jerusalem, then Judea, then Samaria"
If you haven't then you are in your own words - you are denying Jesus.
We do we deny the words of God in regards to the true gospel of the grace of Christ for forgiveness after the Cross where we don't need to forgive people before we receive Christ's forgiveness as Peter and Paul showed in Acts 10 and Acts 13?
Obviously we need to take all scripture even the words of Jesus and see who they are talking to and what was the purpose of His words at the time He spoke them. Context is so key or we end up mixing up the Old Covenant with the New and we end up with a works-based doctrine like the Old Covenant was based on.
Let's climb into the New Covenant build upon better promises and of which the blood of Jesus speaks of better things. We have a truly great and complete salvation in Christ and we don't need to add our own "works" onto it.
