I hope you know the difference between knowing the law and its purpose and trying to justify yourself by it? That's what Paul is speaking to....He was the greatest of law-keepers but said all that was dung compared to being justified by faith in Christ.
But it does feel good to be self-righteous..don't it?
It feels good to love my neighbor as I would want to be, and it feels right a peaceful to love God deep in my heart. When I follow human instruction for righteousness it doesn't feel good. When I adhere to God's instructions it isn't my righteousness, but His only. I live by all His word not just part of it as you seem to instruct yourself and others. If it doesn't feel good to you, I feel very sorry for you. You're missing the truth for sure when you reject these commandments.
Leviticus 19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself: I am the LORD.
Deuteronomy 6:5-6
5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6 And these words which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
Your choice.
"Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these
commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 5:19)
