All Sin has been dealt with Folks ----Jesus Took all Sin for all people for all time for thoses who have Faith in what His Blood accomplished ----so unbelievers do not Go to Hell today for sin they commit---They Go to Hell for Rejecting Jesus who has paid their sin debt in full by the Shedding of His Blood --------Sin is now not the issue --Receiving Jesus by and through Faith is the only way to heaven ------

Topic: How do I know that I am saved and will go to heaven...
I don't think any of us know; even Paul was man enough to say-
"I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself. My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me. Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time" (1 Cor 4:3)

Of course, some people like to think they're saved, but that's a dangerous mindset because they'll drop their guard against satan and he'll have them for breakfast, hence Jesus's warning-
"Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:36)

PS- But one thing is absolutely certain- nonchristians are NOT saved, and never will be..:)
"The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God" (1 Cor 1:18)

if we are in relationship, we know.
If we are in religion, we most often don't know.
He does have His Own in each "church" or congregation or group, He always judges the heart and is drawing His Own from out of all groups at this time.
Come quickly Lord Jesus.
best wishes

Another verse to bear in mind is-
Jesus said:-
"Not all who call me "Lord, Lord" will enter the kingdom of heaven. Then I'll tell them plainly, I never knew you, get away from me" (Matt 7:21-23)
There are plenty of so-called major and minor "christian" denominations, sects and cults out there who in my opinion have zero chance of making it through the pearlies because of their warped crackpot beliefs, but in fairness to them they say the same about me..:)
My defence is that I regard Jesus himself is being my only minister and pastor-
Jesus said-
"Call nobody teacher except me" (Matt 23:8-10)

The topic is: How do I know that I am saved and will go to heaven?

I am asked this question frequently.

We all know the mechanics of salvation, but do we know the results of acceptance of God's gift of Salvation. Are we continuing our lives as we were before we were saved, or has our lives changed? Are we doing what God expects of us, or are we still serving Satan thru our life style?

One of the first verses that a remember leaning tells us exactly what God expects us to do.

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

I firmly believe in once we are saved we are always saved, but unless we are serving God, we need to evaluate our own salvation.

I'm not going to post a sermon text. This is a topic, and scripture to support it. The subject is often argued in the BDF and other forums, but I rarely hear it addressed from the pulpit.

Topic: How do I know that I am saved and will go to heaven.

Scripture: Galatians 5:18-26

Gal 5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality,
Gal 5:20 idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions,
Gal 5:21 envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Gal 5:23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Gal 5:24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
Gal 5:25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.
Gal 5:26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

Question: Am I really saved?

Answers:
1. Are any of the things in verses 19-21 a part of your life? If so "those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God".
2. Do you have the fruit of the Spirit? If not, check your lifestyle.

I'll let you take it from here. There are many people in congregations around the world who think that they are saved and are lost because they don't know how to truly be saved.

I believe this sermon could center around the questions: What is the substance of your faith and what are you doing with and about it?

True belief ----Faith -----trusts in and adheres to and obeys God's Word and also believes in and trusts that God will do as He says in His Word -------

So God's promises need true belief that they will accomplish in our lives what they say they will

an example is ----Philippians 4:19 ----

How many people truly Believe this scripture ----with no doubt in their minds ------

1696622960519.jpeg

How many True Christians truly believe ----with no doubt ---in their minds that as soon as you pray for whatever you ask for ---that you have received it -------have received is past tense ----It WILL BE YOURS -is a promise -----

God knows what your asking for before you pray it -----so before you pray it --He has answered it ----

one Stipulation on prayer -----You have to Pray His will ------these 2 scriptures go together for prayer ----

If your praying to win the lotto -----forget your prayer being answered ---

Jesus said, Matt. 7:21-23, "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
The reassurance that we are truly saved can only be given to us by the Holy Spirit.
Romans 8:16, The same Spirit beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. GW. The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.
