Women are the perverts. They want sex more than guys.

As for sex before marriage I am 34 years old, just had my birthday, and I still have not had sex and believe me that is not easy. When things are getting hot and the woman wants me to have sex with her, it is not like flicking a switch.

The real questions are does having sex matter? Does it matter if intercourse happens before they are married? What is it about marriage that make sex OK? What is marriage? Can a man and woman be married with out a pastor or witness or anyone around (if a man and woman are stranded alone on a desert island can they become husband and wife)?

The real question is, what is marriage?

This is a profoundly bad idea. For more reasons than I can count. None the less I do NOT think it should make or break a decision about whether to marry a specific individual. Since, as has already been discussed, there is no way to PROVE that a man is virginal before marriage AND it is very questionable the "proof" for a woman... This should rather be based on knowledge or reputation regarding over all chastity.
Also in the case of persons who have been previously married the point is rather mute regarding "virginity". No, what needs to be carefully considered and investigated is overall chastity.

There are no IF's, AND's, OR BUT's about it. Sex should come after marriage. Each time you participate in a sexual act with anther person before marriage you are giving them a part of you that you can not take back. No matter the extent of the sexual act that you commit (even if not going all the way) you are giving that person a part of you.

I would rather save myself for marriage then to go to my wedding night knowing that I am not giving him everything of me. Yes some people can not help the fact that they have already had sex, but from the time you commit your life to God fully you should remain pure in every way from then on. Though you can never gain your virginity back you can still find purity through God's love.

sex before marriage. . whose offering? ;) LOL

Seriously though . . NO. God is very clear it is for the marrigage covenent and not the unmarried casual one.

I think your right.... The bible is very clear on this, and for good reasons. Having sex before your married ruins a relationship, and it causes undue stress. Once you pass that physical boundary and actually have sex, everything is different. Its no longer about you and your boyfriend or girlfriend its about sex, and you certainly cant base a healthy relationship on that.
U are so right if I could that is the only thing I would change

Well we all know what the Bible says about the matter, but we're all human and every single one of us does stupid things from time to time.

Kay, I just gotta say what's on my mind right now:
1. Not all guys are pervs...I have a man who's not. He asked my permission before he even kissed my cheek. Yes we've kissed, but we've never had sex, and won't until we're married.
2. A man isn't a REAL man if he is a perv, he's just a little boy, given a big boys body before he was ready (resposibility plays a big part in determining a REAL man).
3. How can you be sure he/she loves you for WHO you are instead of WHAT you are, if you give yourself to them freely like that. I'd much rather make sure he was committed to me and not my body.
4. I think it makes it so much more special for both the man and the woman if you wait until marriage. It's already been said:
"If you wait, you can give all of yourself, instead of just the leftover pieces."
5. Not all girls are pervs either. I'm not! :)
6. I've had one other boyfriend; he didn't respect me or my morals. Because of that, I couldn't respect him, so I left him.
My boyfriend now, respects me, and I respect him. Respect is a BIG thing in a lasting relationship.
7. I'm not just saying this because this is what I believe; It's also what I respect in others.

Been there done that, and pray to God, I have the strength to hold out until marriage
I HAVE THE STRENGTH IN THE NAME OF JESUS

I can honestly say that when a guy meets a girl that totallly shows him the opposite of what he expects he will find it kind of natural to want to share himself with her. why though? its because guys (even though you may think they're just pervs) can actually see sex as a way of letting someone in. I can promise no guy on earth can have sex and not be affected in a emotional and or spirutal way its just they televise and advertise women being affected by this more. lol

with that being said im waiting! lol its fun to wait! xcept when u meet someone who wil dump or play you cus u wont give it up lol
yes im 18 and im still holdin on lol
