Yup! No matter what we have, no matter what we do, no matter what we are, we're going to lose it all when we die.

You can ignore this fact until you get old, let it drive you insane, or let it inspire you to live a life with a meaning that has nothing to do with everything you lose when you die. If you find the meaning that transcends death, THEN you can smile back at death.
