If you are confident that God has called you and directed you in your beliefs, and that they don’t violate soundly interpreted Scripture, why does “slack” concern you?

I suggest that you apply the same principles of self-defence to online discussion that you would to physical interaction: let your first response be either gracious de-escalation or walking away.

Anyone who persists you can ignore because they will have proven their intent to attack rather than understand. That’s one major difference with an online interaction.
 
Exodus 22:2 If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him.

That verse suggests defence is ok

Pacifist men who don't lift a finger to prevent the rape of their wives and murder of their children abet those sins,
and thus are equally guilty and will reap hell unless they repent.
