Should we eat unclean meat of the old testament?

To cultural sensibilities, yes.

Your passage in no way declares that a type of food (Beef, Pork, Equine, Poultry, etc) is unclean by virtue of it being from that animal for New Covenant believers.

1 Cor 10 seems pretty clear that we are not to eat meat sacrificed to idols.

1Co 10:14-18 is about the sacrificial meal, where eating the sacrifice is a participation in the altar (offering of the sacrifice--1Co 10:18), as in the fellowship sacrifice of Lev 3.

To participate in pagan sacrificial meals was to participate in their altar (worship) which, in reality, was offered to demons (1Co 10:20).

It is not about eating meat sold in the marketplace that was sacrificed to idols.

1Co 10:25 states: "Eat anything sold in the meat market without raising questions of conscience, for,
'The earth is the Lord's and everything in it.' "

A sacrifice offered to an idol is nothing, and an idol is nothing (1Co 1:19), so meat sacrificed to idols is no different than any other meat.
The offense of eating meat sacrificed to idols is only by pariticpating in pagan sacrificial meals, which would be a participation in their altar (worship). (1Co 10:20-21)

So 1 Co 10 is pretty clear that we are not to participate in pagan sacrificial meals (1Co 10:18, 20-21),
but we may eat meat sold in the market which has been sacrificed to idols (1Co 1:25),
because an idol is nothing, and a sacrifice offered to an idol is nothing (1Co 10:19).

I seems to me that the decision to follow OT suggestions about eating is something for each individual to decide. When Christ lived with us in the flesh, He said we had stricter rules to follow, for it wasn't only what we do but what our desires are. At the same time, more emphasis is put on what we have in our hearts than our actions, for actions can be empty rituals. For instance, keeping the Sabbath is not only not working, but honoring God by living by His rule of love and putting that first.

So how does this apply to what we eat? It means we need to do what God was trying to teach by giving these laws, not so much by what we eat but by living in the way they lead. First, God says don't eat any animal that is a scavanger. We are to be so chean (and God means this in the widest sense) that we don't even eat animals that are unclean. Be holy and pure!! Quite an order.

God did not want the Hebrews to mix so with the pagans they took on their ways. We are to be a people set apart! God said not to follow how they ate, even. Quite something to achieve.

The food laws, which were part of the Mosaic law's shadows (Heb 10:1; Col 2:17), have been set aside (Heb 7:18-19),
and in the NT there is no unclean food.

Ro 14:14, 17, 20 - "As one who is in the Lord Jesus, I am fully convinced that nothing is unclean. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for him it is unclean (because we must follow our conscience --Ro 2:14-15). . .For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. . .All food is clean. . ."

1Co 8:8, 10:25 - "But food does not bring us near to God; we are no worse if we do no eat, and no better if we do. . .Eat anything sold in the meat market without raising questions of conscience (was it sacrificed to an idol?), for, 'The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it.' "

1Tim 4:3-5 - "They order people to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God (his promise to feed us) and prayer (which blesses it to us, and makes all of it in faith)."

Heb 9:10 - "They are only a matter of food and drink and various ceremonial washings--external regulations applying until the time of the new order."

The born again, regenerate (Jn 3:3) are clean, the unregenerate are not (Jn 3:18).

We don't know where our food comes when we buy it from the shops. Are we to avoid eating all things because someone may have prayed over them to pagan gods/goddesses? No. If we have the Holy Spirit living in us, God will protect us, for he's mightier than any pagan god or goddess.

So here God allowed the Israelites to eat any clean and unclean meat, only that you shall not eat the blood but you are to pour it out on the ground like water.

God even permitted it back then! But even the Lord Jesus told us it doesnt matter what we eat, its our innerself.

If you take the whole chapter together you will see that He is telling them that they only have to bring the animals for sacrifice to the Temple. Once in the land and resting from their enemies they may kill clean animals for food intheir own cities but sacrifices must come to the Temple.

The clean and the unclean are the people qualified to eat the meat God allows, and in the OT that is only clean meat.

lolz you really need to reread it, actually read the whole book ;-) and levaticus that talks about you not eating it. But even if it means people then my apologies i shall take your word till i find out more on it. But infact there is nothing unclean that God has made clean

You need to reread Deuteronomy 12 the whole chapter. There is nothing there changing the law on eating only clean meat. The Chapter is about where the meat can be killed no change on eating clean meat only.

No where in the Bible New or Old does it teach us to eat anything we want. And me and the others that have said Deuteronomy 12 is not teaching this ether. So I am glad you can see what we are saying. The Jewish people had to take care of the people that are within their gate just as good as they take care of their own health. It was traditional for the people that live within the gates to follow what ever the Jews did.

Born again believers are hidden in Christ... that means we are made Holy by abiding in Christ... We are Clean... we cannot be defiled (made unholy) by anything we eat... we should care for our body... lots of foods nowadays are "clean" according to the OT but not good food as well as "unclean" foods might be the only food available and are nutritious. It is really EASY for americans to get all holier-than-THOU about food when they can just go to the grocery store and gt it and have never a thought about how it got there, or for the people who can't afford CLEAN food (priced beef lately)... when a food hardship happens... those people are going to have to come to terms with their error... or starve to death.

That is much debated among the learned. I'd say, contextually speaking, He didn't. If He did then He would have spoken against the law. That does not mean that one cannot eat unclean meat, but to claim Jesus said so might be far fetched. Remember Peter said years later in the vision he received that nothing unclean had entered his mouth at any time. If Jesus had taught him that no meats were unclean he wouldn't have said so.
