As a kid I always loved show and tell not as much to show off something of mine , but I liked seeing what made the other kids happy. So kids.... got anything you'd like to share? It can be a story, a picture of something you bought or were given or even something you made /cooked ( admit it, we are all foodies here) .

I'll start. Clouds make me happy, so I'm constantly looking up..... here's a pic I took not too long agoView attachment 197496

This one happened just yesterday at w*rk.

I smelled the telltale smell of strawberry pies that had been left in the oven waaaaay too long. The boss smelled it too. But we checked the oven and they were not there... nor sitting on the table to cool... odd. So I went back to changing trash cans and I immediately found them.

This is a bad thing because food thrown away must be noted on the waste sheet. Everything gets tabulated and if we have food that is just missing, it might have been stolen or who-knows-what, so it's kind of important to keep track of the food we throw away. So the boss went around asking everybody in the grill area who it was that threw pies away. It was Nobody of course... that Nobody dude always did it.

The manager eventually resorted to checking the in-store cameras and found out it was a middle aged woman who did it. The boss didn't make a big, loud deal about it, just went to the woman and explained when she throws food away she is supposed to write it down on the waste sheet.

I kid you not, the middle aged woman spent the rest of her shift grumbling about that. She seemed to take it as a personal affront. I kept trying my best to keep a straight face, but occasionally I had to go to the back and have a good long laugh, mostly about how tore up she got over it.

Why did she throw them away? Just curious.

I'm thinking I need to show off the very important life skills I learned while spending an afternoon with younger family members.

When playing Minecraft and going up against zombies during Survival Mode, it is VERY important to have a carefully-planned strategy to help ensure your chances for survival.

Mainly, you want to build your own house fairly close to a village or town so that all the zombie have a plentiful food source (why, all those villagers, of course!) to distract them long enough for you to build up an arsenal and fortify your surroundings.

I guess it's like the comedy movies where two friends are running away from a vampire, and so one of the two potential victims trips the other, giving the vampire an easy meal and greatly increasing the other person's chance for survival.

Many years ago, there was a very popular book called, "Everything I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten."

I'm thinking now might be the time for a follow-up: "And Everything Else I Needed to Know, I Learned While Warding Off Vampires... and a Zombie Apocalypse."

The voice actor of Dante from Devil May Cry was recently attacked .it was after he was done staring in a documentary. It's on a book about the book of Revelations he said thank God I was drinking my bullet proof coffee lol might have to replay the games and possibly rewatch the anime 🤔

This is my long haired Chihuahua, Fifi. She is 13 years old. I've had her since 2006. I was 16 when I got her in March of that year. She was tiny and could fit in my hand. She's still very small. I love her and I've known her half my life pretty much. I am going to be very heart broken when she leaves me.
But I've learned recently that every special friend whether it be human or animal is here for a season. I'm going to continue enjoying this season with my girl. I think she looks like a fox. Sometimes I call her 'Fifi Foxy (and then our last name).' :p

She looks like a fairly complacent dog, far different from most of the chihuahuas I have known. Almost every one of that breed I have met has been ill-tempered. Your dog looks much happier.

Thank you! She is pretty calm...until there is another dog in her face. Then her feistiness comes out! lol
