Do you like to be the one putting on the show or the one watching the show? What kind of show do you like to put on, or what kind of show do you like to watch?

Do you like to listen to some good preaching, or do you wish you were the one up there doing the preaching?

Do you like to hear a good song or are you trying to produce your own album?

Do you like to watch figure skating or do you wish you were the one out there on the... This one may not be relatable for everyone. Especially me. But some people in my family sure do like to watch it.

Comedy is getting popular these days, to the extent that multiple comedians have had to post announcements on their social media warning about scalpers. "If somebody is trying to charge you more than this amount for a ticket to my show, that is not legit!" Apparently stand up comedy is really popular these days. Lots of people want to go and watch that kind of show.

On the other hand I know of at least one comedian who will do a show even though he's pretty sure he won't get paid for it. I have heard him talking on a podcast about going to some clubs and he can tell just by looking at the owner that the check will probably bounce, if he does get one. His accountant will get all upset about, they haven't paid you yet! He's like, I know. I wasn't expecting it. The accountant will ask, then why did you do the show? Because I like to do comedy. *shrug

So which one are you? Or are you both? Or neither?

I'd rather watch..

If its a preacher, please quote your scriptures and make your point. I'm good for about 15 to 20 minutes before my mind drifts off somewhere.

If its a concert, please keep it to no more than three songs. If its good, you can add a fourth. I've pretty much had my song fix by then. Refer to my previous comment.

Even with coffee, there's a point when I'm done.. Yes, there can be to much of a good thing.

If I can think of anything else, I'll add that later!

😀

This ties into the thread about movies and TV shows to avoid. For Rod, avoid anything that says feature length film on it.

I love watching/listening, but also enjoy performing! I'm actually about to sing at a little local concert in about 2 hours! I'm scared cuz I haven't done anything quite on this scale yet! But I hope it goes well and God gets glorified!
