I have no doubt this guy was a troll, thinking of new and interesting ways to entice people to convert to Islam.

However, he was not actually rude, or slanderous towards people. And although I totally disagree with the OP, it would have been a great starting point and opportunity to discuss how we serve and follow a living and resurrected Saviour.

The last thread the guy was a bit more abusive. But not even close to some of the people that have been posting in the forum lately. And these people are not Christians!

People, when Muslim evangelists come into this forum, let us at least spend some time explaining the real gospel before we report them. They have been lied to by their leaders and teachers, and of course the Qur'an itself.

We have the truth, let us give it to these lost souls in love. As long as they are not planning the overthrow of CC, maybe we do need to share the light of Christ first, report second?

The only thing i could figure out is the guy wanted to be friends. Maybe we must not to be too harsh. Unless we are accepting we can't win hearts. You don't chant Jesus is the way and your prophet is....... That makes people hate us and turn away. You are right , in that we battle not against flesh and blood, but you are wrong in that we do not, by inheritance, battle against the deity of the opposing opted for Spirit that reigns in our disposition. And this board does accept people with different gospels; the work gospel. They accept people who go to lukewarm teaching churches or people who haven't been to church.

Why doesn't the board invite that person back?

I think a young believer would have learned a lot from a reasoned and scriptural discussion of why the OP, while seeming correct was Biblically wrong!

I wonder how many people have Muslim friends or have spoken to Muslims about who Jesus Christ is? I had a FB friend I met in a health forum originally, and we had long, interesting chats about our faiths, as she tried to aggressively convert me. It was a good lesson in defending Jesus and the Trinity, with minimum reliance on the Bible, which, like all Muslims, she thought was "corrupted!"

After the terrorist attack in California she left FB and has not returned. She lived in Texas and wore a Hijab. So I would imagine she got harassed by the "good" Christians there. She was actually a red headed American, who converted and got "banned" from her parent's lives. I still pray for her to come to know the real Jesus Christ!
