Can I say something about the roles of women in the Age of Church? Let me ask this question especially for chosenby.. Who was the VERY FIRST to tell that Jesus was alive? Males or females? Who was the first to witness that? Who was the first to tell the Apostles? Males or females? Which one? Then I believe God allows women to have roles as well. Although the Word say men are to be the head as said throughout the entire Bible.
Remember this though, God does not favor anybody. No one is more special. All are equal. I am not saying I am a feminist which I am not. Although I have been around females more than males through my life. Mostly raised by my mom and I have older sister. Anyway, I believe the men are head of their houses (including churches) but the women have roles too.. teachers, witness to other females, things like that. Women can preach to other women.
In this case for Coolgirl, her calling is to share God's word with other truckers and suppliers and clients (stores, businesses). Let's say I hire her to deliver our RV trailers on flatbed, she would share words with us and I would accept that because my company is Christian-based. And maybe she would share with my suppliers.
I know of a Christian woman who is so faithful. actually a few of them. They teach SS, Bible Study, worked with women Ministries, orphanage. One is even asking me to join her in her ministry. I am praying about that.. But thats still early to do so. Well, that is all I can say about them. There are female missionaries. I knew one who is Deaf and worked in Brasil and now she is married to a missionary who is also Deaf and works in Russia so they work both places. Her specialty is with children who are Deaf. He works with Deaf adults.
And please do not argue with other believers. Each one has different way of interpretation of doctrine. But please Jesus said in the bible not to go against your brother. Love thy neighbors, love thy enemies.. That was the 11th Commandment and the most important of all, the 12th Commandement: Go ye therefore and preach all nations in the Name of the Father, of the Word (Son), and the Holy Ghost... did you see that!!?? God was telling BOTH men and women to spread the Gospel! It is a commandment! So, this Commandment is more supreme than the men over women leadership. So I respect Coolgirl and she is great. Has sense of humor. I like her for who she is because she is who she is!
