hahaha true yes... but thats why we have the NRMA!lol I think there is a big difference between want and need.... I want a man but dont need one if that makes sense lol

I just wanna say to all those lovely blokes who think we need em to change car tyres.....I will have u know that I learnt to change tyres and check oil and water BEFORE I was allowed to drive...thats my Dad for ya ;)
Also, while we are on the subject, I have NEVER taken my car to a garage to get the oil and filter changed.....I have my own blocks....I change my own oil and filter cos its just sooooo easy! LOL....
Having said ALL this...there are other things guys come in handy for............and I for one......would not turn away genuine interest.......
companionship in this life with a man is what I am hoping for one day.....all in God's time....as he continues to teach me.
Nuf said.....as u were....lol

That's nothing...I once killed 3 mice while simultaneously changing a lightbulb and cleaning the pool. pick me pick me! lol
 
I am terrified of mice!!! I couldn't kill one, let alone touch it.

Here's some advice to all the guys out there...girls like watching guys kill things...it makes them feel protected...the more things you kill, the better you will do...but only kill gross looking things, like snakes and spiders...don't kill kittens...they don't like that
 
Joy I don't know what a guy would have to kill to impress you,,,maybe a whale??? or a giraffe?

Actually Sharp...the whole killing a whale thing - in Fiji it is customary to present a 'tabua' or Whales tooth to the family of the woman you wish to marry....proves your dedication to your beloved!
I guess the equilivant would be asking her Dad for her hand in marriage...not quite as exciting as having to go Whale hunting for an illusive tooth mind you!! LOL

JOY--Since you mentioned growing up on a farm... perhaps Sharp could, say, wrestle down a cow and claim its tooth to present to your father (after having changed your oil and tires, of course!) in order to win your hand.

And if a cow is too much to start with, um... maybe a pig, goat, or chicken???

As for me... forget the cow's tooth... I'd be happy being presented with a five-star burger instead :) .

hahaha.....and as for my Dad - if the guy could appreciate (or pretend well) Country Music, that would win over my Dad hands down.......Dad would be pushing me into marrying ANY guy that liked Country! LOL (sad but tru!)
 
P.S - My family were sheep farmers ;)
My first real job was a farm labourer....yup, I was a tomboy! I know how to throw a fleece and rousy!! LOL

you are kinda on to something there ......... If i was a woman i think i would like a guy to be not grossed out by those kinda things.... That arent wimpy ya know.... i dunno.. thats just if i was a girl lol
