LOL Excuse me, but my mind works weird. I read what you wrote and then saw your avatar. And my mind immediately thought, "Now that's a lady who just changed a very stinky diaper. A well-prepared Mama." LOLTO all the single mothers out there, I want to offer a thread for support. God knows I need it!
I am very happy that their dad does his part and that it all goes smooth. For raising them praise God dad does the biggest part. I'm more of a play mom. I think that's very hard if you have to do it all yourself. My mother had the help of my dad who has always been there for me. She has 5 children and I'm not sure even she could imagine life without my dad. There is a reason God gave women the ability to birth His children and not men.
I'm not a single mother but i'm posting here anyways =P
One of the saddest things is not having the other person (or in my case people) around to share all the cute, crazy, and hilarious things they do... At least my olders are at ages where they can share that with me and I with them in regard to the youngers.
So, I see. Thank you captain obvious
My mother raised four kids on her own, one of them was a troubled child who often was in trouble with the law.
(It wasnt me btw : p)
She worked 40 hours a week while raising us alone, and even managed to graduate from college while doing it. I know shed say it wasnt in any way easy : p But I can say that I really appreciated all that she did for us, how thankful and grateful I am for what she did for us, and how she is an inspiriation for me to try harder. I even often think about her when I work, and how I want to do as well as she did, no joke : p
I cant offer you much support, as Im not in your situation at all : p But speaking as the child of a single mother, I have huge respect for her, and am really happy that we had a mother who was loving enough to work as hard as she did for us.
