"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." ~ James 5:16

This probably isn't the perfect place for confessions, but it certainly is a place where we can pray for one another. There's so much pain, fear and anger in the world and in these threads. We should be praying for one another, right? :)

So..anything/anyone on your heart today? <3

I would like prayers. I seen this thread and thought I would share where I am at right now with my walk with Jesus and ask for prayer. Recently I have rededicated myself to the Lord. I had backslid and wasn't reading my Bible or praying like I should. I recently have been attending a new church and have felt a big difference in my Christian walk. I am still struggling with letting things go and trying to be the woman God wants me to be. If everyone could remember me in prayer I would appreciate it. Also pray for my family.

Thanks

i just want to have a boyfriend which through him i know how God loves me.I have been waiting for a long time and got pressure from parents and friends.i lost trust in Lord and dont know what to do.I just feel that i am too stupid that i cant find one

i will pray for you hellobacky, please dont be discouraged, i know how much pressure parents and friends can do, but be brave, i think that marriage comes from God, so its not your fault and you are not stupid, God has a purpose in your life and he have his time to do things in our lifes, meanwhile you can do and enjoy many things until you marry and getting closer to God. :)

So wonderful to read that you've come back to the Lord. Praying that God will strengthen you as you draw closer to Him and that He will reveal Himself to you and your family in glorious ways.

Welcome to CC! :) I pray that God will enrich your life and grow your faith so that you appreciate your own value and that God will, in His perfect timing, lead you to a gentleman who will join you in your walk.

:) Thank you.I am just afraid that i didnt do what i should do because i am not so smart that i missed the gift He send to me.Maybe he prepared some for me,but i dont know how to get it and how to work iwth Him.That's what concerns me

I have to believe that if it's really right and God is it in, it will happen, you know? In the meantime, I think He's preparing us and molding us into the person we need to be; not only to please HIM, but to be what we should for the person we need in our lives. If we want someone great in our lives, seems only fair that we should be willing to allow God to mold us into what they need as well, right? :)

My home state of Texas is on my heart right now. The drought situation is beyond critical.

Praying NukePooch is well. Haven't seen him around lately. :) We may have to BOL him again! :D

Currently on my heart and the cause of many heartaches in my life is my chosen vocation in life. I went through college and completed all of my requirements for the job that I love. When I graduated my hopes where high that this was the path I was to follow. From the time that I was a child this has been my hearts desire. However, it has been five years since graduation and no doors have opened to getting a full time job. For these past five years I have worked as a Substitute. It is the closest I can come to doing the job that I love so much. I know that this profession is God's will because I have seen his work in every aspect of my job.

I went into this summer with high expectations. I had this deep gut feeling that this was my year. My dream was finally going to come to life. My summer is quickly coming to and end. And a while back I had lost all hope and said that I was tired of dreaming only to have my dreams crushed. That the pain wasn't worth it any more. Not so long after saying that God has restored my hope for the future.

There has been a certain position that was placed on my heart. Unfortunately there were no openings for that position. I continued to have faith and believe that God has everything under control. Well just this week that position has become available. Before learning about the availability of the position I had read in God's word some powerful words that had my heart soaring. I felt that this was God's answer to my long awaited prayers. I haven't heard a thing yet about the job. I have been patiently waiting for a call, but with each day my hope and faith are fading away. I am even beginning to question God's calling on my life. I feel as though I am on a roller coaster and that I am about to crash into the ground. Please pray for me that my hope does not fade away and that I can cope with whatever the outcome may bring. Thanks

Will pray with you right now. Please let us know how it goes! :)

I am in need of prayer also.

My job is going thru some things and they are driving me crazy. I have a fledgling business that I am ppumping money into and not getting much out of yet. I also have the desire for companionship right now. It seems that every aspect of life is just weighing in on me at this time.

I had a Job moment on Monday but I am better today. I still reaaly would like lots of people praying for strength to get thru this season.

Thanx so much.

Amber, I had this very thing on my heart yesterday. Was thinking about what you'd shared about your workplace and wondered how you were holding up. Stay strong, Sis. Lifting you up in prayer.

As much as I hate the idea of giving everything I have, and all that I am... Somewhere inside, I want to be more commited to reliquishing all that I am. To really and actually surrender all of the little things that keeps me distracted from following Jesus. I don't want to be the rich young ruler, I don't want to be afraid and ashamed, I don't want to be as Nicodemus who believed in the shadows. I don't want that comfortable "christian" life-style that most strive for... I want to learn to be a slave for Christ. I want to suffer as He and his apostles did. I want die daily to myself. I want my mind renewed. I want my spirit strengthened... I want God to be my center, even if it means killing my body to do so... And so much, much, more...

You rock, Kooper. I can't imagine God not giving you THAT desire of your heart. :)

A girlfriend, that's I want right now.

“I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you.For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”
