Jesus said it was the worst ever and never to happen again.I would argue this tribulation is not yet “great”.

You are adding to Revelation when you add the pre-trib Rapture to it. The Pre Trib Rapture has no scripture directly saying it will happen. You need to find this before saying what you say. And nobody can do it.
That is the end of the world. But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
Matthew 24:37-43 KJV
Jesus will come like a thief in the night, when people are not yet in tribulation, eating, drinking, and marrying.
Rev 16:15
Matt 24:43
1Thes 5:2
1Thes5:4
2 Peter 3:10
That is the end of the world.

The flood killed all but 8. Just as the exploding earth will kill all remaining after the resurrection followed by the rapture. The flood is just another tribulation, not yet the end of the world. The end is when satan is condemned in hell with his minions. The people saved in the ark are just like the christians spared in the great tribulation.
The flood killed all but 8. Just as the exploding earth will kill all remaining after the resurrection followed by the rapture.
The GT happened in AD70 according to Jesus. The church has nothing but tribulation with no escape until the end of the world. The rapture you mean is the second coming. Not all will be killed after the GT. There will be remnants. And the GT will be shortened else no one will be left.

They are never appointed to wrath. That is so sad. Christians are not appointed to wrath.
They are never appointed to wrath.
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” John 3:36 (KJV 1900)
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 (KJV 1900)
Did these expect a pre-trib rapture? The context of tribulation here is normal human suffering. Not tribulation in revelation which is like God's wrath pouring on earth.
Did these expect a pre-trib rapture?
Perpetua, a married lady, of about twenty-two years. Those who suffered with her were, Felicitas, a married lady, big with child at the time of her being apprehended; and Revocatus, of Carthage, and a slave. The names of the other prisoners, destined to suffer upon this occasion, were Saturninus, Secundulus and Satur. On the day appointed for their execution, they were led to the amphitheatre. Satur, Saturninus, and Revocatus, were ordered to run the gauntlet between the hunters, or such as had the care of the wild beasts. The hunters being drawn up in two ranks, they ran between, and were severely lashed as they passed. Felicitas and Perpetua were stripped, in order to be thrown to a mad bull, which made his first attack upon Perpetua, and stunned her; he then darted at Felicitas, and gored her dreadfully; but not killing them, the executioner did that office with a sword. Revocatus and Satur were destroyed by wild beasts; Saturninus was beheaded; and Secundulus died in prison. These executions were in the year 205, on the 8th day of March.

How can they be Christians if they reject Christ and his atonement and offer animal sacrifices in a third temple? It does not sound like God's wrath pouring kind of tribulation. There will be tribulation saints in revelation but they will not be christians but Jews. When they came to attend the wedding in heaven, the bride or the church is already there.
How can they be Christians if they reject Christ and his atonement and offer animal sacrifices in a third temple?
So they are wicked under wrath, as Jesus says? They are jews. Christians have no temples. Temples are jewish, as well as animal sacrifices.
So they are wicked under wrath, as Jesus says?
Yes. The tribulation is their last chance.
But if they offer animal sacrifices they reject Jesus.Yes. The tribulation is their last chance.
But if they offer animal sacrifices they reject Jesus.
The kingdom prophecies say the whole world, including them, will offer animal sacrifices if taken literally. = they are lost according to you. If you remove the gap and look at NT scripture for what it is, everything lines up. Can you prove a gap that turns Jesus into Antichrist? That is why they are given the last chance to change. Since salvation for unbelieving jews is by faith and works. They will be saved by being martyrs. And since christians are saved by faith alone, being martyrs wont please God more. JESUS already did all the work.
