So I won't be able to fit in no matter how I try and won't have many friends because God made it happen?

I suspect you have misinterpreted these passages. The "hatred" noted here is the world's hatred for truth and light, not dislike from other Christians. You might have many Christian friends. I'm a socially awkward introvert, and I am blessed with many friends.

As for having non-Christian friends (I have those as well), consider any non-Christians with whom you interact your "mission field".
