It is what people "accuse" when they are trying to defend the indefensible because they live in the land of cognitive dissonance.

Cognitive dissonance is when someone holds two contradictory beliefs. For example, on the one hand someone might believe the current president is a vile person; but on the other hand they will claim he's the best person for the country, at least better than any Democrat. I fail to see how a vile person could possibly be the best person for the country. If you try to point out their contradiction they just say you have Trump derangement syndrome and write you off so they don't have to confront their own dissonance.

People typically cannot see or are very unwilling to face this disconnect and when confronted they will typically accuse, deflect go into "whataboutism" or retreat into Ad Hominem like you just experienced with @2ndTimeIsTheCharm

There are plenty of New testament references that if we are servants or if we are masters or whatever we are doing in this world we do it as unto the Lord. Don't claim that this is Caesar who you are serving, you are serving the Lord Jesus, you can be a janitor, or the principal, or the President.
You understand you are literally saying that Christ is the leader of the US, England, Canada and any other country that express the thought it is free?
