Sober in the Spirit excludes what exactley?

The spiritually undiscerning call evil holy. Its one thing to identify what is holy and what is not but it is entirely a whole another thing to say that every manifestation we see is holy. It is simply not truth! Those who believe it is are very foolish. Let me guess: these guys will rail on me if I show them the apostasy in joel osteens church and all his homies that are the same? You have been here longer and probably know the answer that I think I already know!!

Not everything is from God, but there's one video which I won't post of which a lot will say it's not God, because she shakes real hard, but it is God, she was totally on fire and in intercession for souls all the time. I watch out with both. I'm not too quick to say it's not God or it is God. First I investigate it and look at the fruit.

They will judge you for insisting that there are standards to follow. The only standard they know is a lawless grace in which there are no standards.

Kind of looks like he simply quoted Jesus talking to His disciples. You don't consider yourself to of the same following?

It's always best just to ignore the "baiting".....:)..the whole purpose is to cause division and strife and it is good to avoid them like Paul said in Rom. 16:17


 
Holy Laughter, Slain in the Spirit, whatever they call it, etc....all these manifestations are clearly not from the Holy Spirit as evidenced from simply looking at the fruit of the Spirit:

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." Gal 5:22-23

When all in doubt, look at what the Bible says about how one should act when in fellowship together:

"Let all things be done decently and in order." 1 Cor 14:40

Acting like a drunk, bouncing on the ground, growling, passing out, etc...Is acting indecent and disorderly, which is disobedience to the Word of God and is not the Holy Spirit. Those ministers who do such things bring shame to the cause of Christ making a mockery of how Christians should behave!

Im not trying to cause division. I have my viewpoints on things just as you do.Id say your comment here was baiting. Get to know me before you become the judge

Sobriety, in my estimation, is not allowing oneself to be under the influence of intoxicating chemicals. I suppose one could take it a step further to say that we shouldn't behave AS IF we are under the influence of intoxicating chemicals.
 
keep your faith, sober, that would mean ,don t over step your understanding, but to stand in what god , jesus, the holy spirit, has taught you.
for example, don t blow in the wind with someone elses teachings, but stand in what you know, and can prove, from scripture.

Romans 12
3 For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.(you)
