Did Jesus mean what he said ? Did Jesus and the disciples keep the Sabbath? Yes it’s a no brainer! Are all nations to follow them ? Yes it’s a no brainer.
But as Jesus taught them , not as the Pharisees would , they hated Jesus for correcting them on their errors , about the Sabbath and the law . I looked into some history writings and yes the early believers did keep the Sabbath, and they got a lot of persecution from the Romans and others . So the disciples did do as Jesus commanded them . But I suppose it’s only a remnant that keep it these days . There always is a remnant. I discovered it reading and searching for truth . I keep it and Get blessed often. The best description to me is it’s like a refreshing. And that’s also how Gods word expresses it A refreshing. Is it only for Israel ? Originally it was ! But it went out to the gentiles . Some examples even in the OT . May God bless you as you find truth that sets you free .

I can only speak for myself in that regard. I have no problem with you, except for sometimes not understanding what you are saying.
Ask . yes I jam alot stuff together think or behold events But start from top Come out of Her share what you know not throw bunches scripts ,that's it .

Gentiles did change the sanctified day.
It is clearly stated by the rcc that they changed the day without bible authorization.
They claim that God lead them but they also do many things contrary to the word of God.
The Council of Laodicea.
One of the decisions from this council stated:
Christians shall not Judaize and be idle on Saturday (Sabbath), but shall work on that Day: but the Lord’s Day, they shall especially honor; and as being Christians, shall, if possible, do no work on that day. If however, they are found Judaizing, they shall be shut out from Christ.
The influence of these councils went as far as Asia and the entire Byzantine Empire.
A statement from the Catholic Encyclopedia, Vol. 4, p. 153. “The church after changing the day of rest from the Jewish Sabbath or seventh-day of the week to the first, made the third commandment refer to Sunday as the day to be kept holy as the Lord’s day.”

"Some theologians have held that God likewise directly determined the Sunday as the day of worship in the New Law that He Himself has explicitly substituted the Sunday for the Sabbath. But this theory is now entirely abandoned. It is now commonly held that God simply gave His Church the power to set aside whatever day or days she would deem suitable as Holy Days. The Church chose Sunday, the first day of the week, and in the course of time added other days as holy days."
The early church was not under the covenant of the law at Mt Sinai, Israel was in that former covenant.
The early church was Gentile and never said “All the words which the Lord has spoken we will do!”
In fact, the early church knew nothing about the old covenant between God and Israel.
Israel was the chosen nation and they broke the Mt Sinai covenant.
Hebrews 8:9
Not like the covenant which I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to lead them
out of the land of Egypt; For they did not continue in My covenant, And I did not care for them, says the Lord.
The former covenant of Mt Sinai was terminated by God and so was the book of the law, which Moses wrote.
The early church gathered to break bread on the day that Jesus rose not because of some obsolete Jewish law.
A Jewish law that commands us to rest on Sunday or die!
There is no penalty if you work on a Sunday.
The early church did not rest on Sunday and did not make an offering at the temple on Sunday.
Gentile nations were never a party to the old covenant that Israel made with God at Mt Sinai.
The early church was under grace.
The early church was not in the Mt Sinai covenant because that covenant was terminated (Hebrew 8:9).
No Gentile today can be under the book of the covenant (Mt Sinai) because it was obsolete, 2000 years ago.
The former covenant of Mt Sinai was terminated by God and so was the book of the law, which Moses wrote.
If the Torah had been abolished there would remain no lawful, legal way for Jesus Christ to do anything written in the Book of Revelation.
All punishment shown to be coming upon mankind found in Revelation are the punishments allowed by the Torah for transgressions, for sin!
By the time Christ set foot on the Mount of Olives and fights "The Battle of That Great Day of God Almighty" 90% of humanity will have been put to death. legally put to death for their sins !
God, both the Father and Christ created the Law i.e. the Torah, it reveals their Divine nature
under an agreement , covenant, contract both parties must agree to terminate, one party can not terminate.
Once God agrees to something He can never walk away.
if that were not so, then He can walk away from giving you eternal life at any time.
Unless the agreement/covenant states God can under certain circumstances, walk - He can not. it does not, it does allow for punishments
Paul did not say it was terminated or obsolete -- growing old yes
Only when there are no more humans will the Physical Torah cease to exist, the Spiritual Torah is eternal.
I do understand why so many want the Torah to be trashed --- it says they can not sin and if they refuse to stop sinning it is eternal death.
you know who else hate the Torah -- one guess should do it.
The point I am making is valid unless the God that made us is not the same today and for ever!!
If the Father and Jesus Christ have abolished their Torah, then we are left not understanding how we should live our lives. and I certainly do not want to figure it out by my self -- until I began to understand and obey my life was stupid.
If there were no eternal law to guide and direct our lives by -- then any and everything is acceptable. Do not tell me humans have morals and can determine right from wrong --- this current world is proof that ain't so.
Ask Adam and Eve how that turned out for them.
God's Law/Torah shows us God's unchangeable nature. God hate sin!
And as the whole world is now exploding in sin, punishment as dictated by the "OLD" abolished TORAH is soon coming to planet earth.
Torah LEGAL PUNISHMENT -- read it for yourselves.

If it is about the 3rd being the Sabbath look up the Catholic version of the 10 commandments.
The Catholic church removed the 2nd commandment and divided the 10th into 2 to keep 10.
