Christ spent his ministry teaching his followers how to follow the Law of God by word and by example and Christianity is about following what Christ taught. Being a Christian is not just for Jews but for Gentiles too. It is by the Law of God that we have knowledge of what sin is and the Bible calls for Gentiles to refrain from sin.
There is no verse in the New testament showing jesus or anyone teaching the law, especially to gentiles. There is only jesus correcting the jews in what the law says. This is a complete misreading of the new testament with presuppositions.

Ps the law of Moses is a subset of the law of God.

I have quoted verses that show that Jesus spent his ministry teaching his followers to obey the Law of Moses by word and by example and that he commissioned his disciples to teach everything that he taught to the nations, so if you want to follow him, then you should follow what he taught, but if you don't want to follow him, then it is your prerogative to not follow what he taught.

Can you quote where the Bible lists a set of things that are sin that are an alternative to the Mosaic Law?

ledge, ever read this verse spoken by Jesus Christ to His disciples?

Matthew 23

1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,

2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:

3 ""All"" therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, [that] observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

the pharisees that ruled the Jews at that time used the Torah --- Christ used the Torah to counter the Pharisees, so they had no way to disprove what Christ taught.

Christ is telling His disciples to follow and do ALL the Pharisees tell them to do from the Torah. but do not do what the pharisees personally do --they themselves do not obey the Torah. Look what they did to Christ, totally against Torah.

I am sure this can be twisted just like what is done to the entire Bible

No you have not. I have basically given you the bulk of protestant Christianity doctrine. You're assertion that the Mosaic law applies to gentiles is heretical. I showed you that as well.

Further there is no versus where jesus or the apistles are teaching gentiles to follow the law, only how they were failing to keep it. You have posted no versus.

More to the point. If you want to believe the heresy that's on you. What I am doing, apparently not well enough is let you prove your assertion. Which you can't.

Any rebuttal I have made you have shifted the subject and avoided it. The Mosaic law is not a part of christianity. That you don't understand that can only mean you don't know what the christian faith is about.

You entire insistence on trying to make Christianity a continuation of Judaism is offensive to Christians, and to those who do not have a good grasp of thier christian belief you are or you will damage thier christian walk.

You fail to understand I was a part of Hebrew roots. I know the doctrine. It isn't christian

Your persistence is harming people go to a sda or Hebrew roots chat board and live it up. Instead of being a agent of Satan here.

In Matthew 4:15-23, Christ began his ministry with the Gospel message to repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand, which was a light to the Gentiles, and the Mosaic Law was how his audience knew what sin is (Romans 3:20), so repenting from our disobedience to it is a central part of the Gospel message. Christ also set a sinless example for us to follow of how to walk in obedience to the Mosaic Law and as his followers we are told to follow his example (1 Peter 2:21-22) an that those who are in Christ are obligated to walk in the same way that he walked (1 John 2:6). So Jesus spent his ministry teaching his followers to obey the Mosaic Law by word and by example, and in Matthew 28:16-20, he commissioned his disciples to teach to the nations everything that he taught them. So you can keep ignoring these verses if you want, but you are lying if you claim that I have not quoted them. It is absurd to think that the position that followers of Christ should follow Christ is heretical, but even if it were heretical, then we should all be heretics.

Further there is no versus where jesus or the apistles are teaching gentiles to follow the law, only how they were failing to keep it. You have posted no versus.
It is by the Mosaic Law that we have knowledge of what sin is (Romans 3:20), so all of of the many verses that call for Gentiles to repent from sin are calling for Gentiles to obey the Mosaic Law.

I can go back find examples of posts that I've made that prove my position that you've ignored, you've only got bluster at this point. If there is any rebuttal that you think that I've avoided, then by all means please quote it. You are arguing against following Christ example of obedience to what God has commanded, so you are clearly the one who does not know what Christianity is about.

You entire insistence on trying to make Christianity a continuation of Judaism is offensive to Christians, and to those who do not have a good grasp of thier christian belief you are or you will damage thier christian walk.
Someone treat Christianity as if Jesus had come to start his own religion, but he came as the Jewish Messiah of Judaism in fulfillment of Jewish prophecy and he spent his ministry teaching his followers how to practice Judaism by setting a sinless example for us to follow of how to walk in obedience to the Torah. In Acts 21:20, they were rejoicing that tens of thousands of Jews were coming to faith in Jesus who were all zealous for the Torah, which is in accordance with Titus 2:14, where Jesus gave himself to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people of his own possession who are zealous for doing good works, so Jews coming to faith in Jesus were not ceasing to practice Judaism but were becoming zealous for it. This means that there was a period of time between the resurrection of Jesus and the inclusion of Gentiles in Acts 10 that is estimated to be around 7-15 years during which all Christians were Torah observant Jews and that Christianity at its origin was the form of Judaism that recognized Jesus as the Messiah. In Acts 24:14, Paul testified that according to The Way, which they call a sect, he continued to worship the God of their fathers, believing everything laid down by the Torah and written in the Prophets, and the religion of which The Way is a sect is Judaism. You can be offended by history for all I care, but it doesn't mean it didn't happen.

You fail to understand I was a part of Hebrew roots. I know the doctrine. It isn't christian

Your persistence is harming people go to a sda or Hebrew roots chat board and live it up. Instead of being a agent of Satan here.
I'm not SDA or Hebrew roots. A Christian is a follower of what Christ taught, not someone who refuses to follow what he taught. Satan does not have the role of leading us to follow Christ's example of obedience to what God has commanded, so that is straight up blasphemy.

I can’t find where in the Bible the Sabbath ceases .
Many use the resting in Jesus , rather than observing the Sabbath. In Hebrews it’s only a comparison, it does not state replacement of the Sabbath . or that the Sabbath ceases . Quite the opposite actually the Sabbath goes on into the future. Read Isaiah 66 . Mathew 24 , and other places . It’s not legalism to keep the Law properly . It’s done by being lead by the Spirit of God , not circumcision of the flesh . Seems strange that only the 4 th commandment is neglected. I only started keeping the Sabbath when convinced it was obedience. And have had many blessings for doing so . Jesus said if you love me you will keep my commandments. He set the example himself. Follow him would be my word .

In Matthew 4:15-23, Christ began his ministry with the Gospel message to repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand, which was a light to the Gentiles,
Wrong.
In Matthew 4, John the Baptist is imprisoned, but his earlier ministry (detailed in Matthew 3, which sets the context for ch. 4) focused on preaching to the general Jewish population, including Jerusalem and Judea. He specifically confronted religious leaders, including the Pharisees and Sadducees, calling them a "brood of vipers" to repent.Key details of John's preaching audience:The Jewish Populace: Crowds from Jerusalem, all Judea, and the surrounding Jordan Valley came to hear him and be baptized in the Jordan River.Religious Leaders: John directly challenged the Pharisees and Sadducees, demanding they bear fruit worthy of repentance. The Message: He preached in the Judean wilderness, calling for repentance because "the kingdom of heaven is at hand".Context: By Matthew 4:12, John has been cast into prison, and Jesus takes over the proclamation of this message

and the Mosaic Law was how his audience knew what sin is (Romans 3:20),
Wrong, it's specifically to jews
in Rom 3, Paul directly addresses Jewish interlocutors—those "under the law"—to demonstrate that both Jews and Gentiles are equally under the power of sin, eliminating any room for boasting. and those with the law. ALL are sinners. His audience he is addressing (those under the law) are Jewish and failure with the law

so repenting from our disobedience to it is a central part of the Gospel message.
True

Christ also set a sinless example for us to follow of how to walk in obedience to the Mosaic Law and as his followers we are told to follow his example (1 Peter 2:21-22) an that those who are in Christ are obligated to walk in the same way that he walked (1 John 2:6).
Wrong.
They were encouraged to walk a sinless life there is no reference to the Mosaic law. Gentiles were guilty of sin even without the law as Paul has established in Romans
Jesus was Jewish as were the disciples they kept the Jewish laws, they were not telling us to be jewish. You are reading that into the text.
So Jesus spent his ministry teaching his followers to obey the Mosaic Law by word and by example, and in Matthew 28:16-20,
Wrong, he taught them to not walk in sin. Both those who have the law are sinners and those without the law
Mat 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.

There is no mention of the mosaic law here. The commands implies a continuous process of instructing others to live out the character and teachings of Christ. Jesus taught to love God and others, not the Mosaic law. You are again imposing the mosaic law into your interpretation. The text does not support it.

It is by the Mosaic Law that we have knowledge of what sin is (Romans 3:20),
Again sin exists outside the mosaic law as Paul expressed in Romans.

so all of of the many verses that call for Gentiles to repent from sin are calling for Gentiles to obey the Mosaic Law.
Not a shred of evidence of this.

I can go back find examples of posts that I've made that prove my position that you've ignored,
no you cant
.You are arguing against following Christ example of obedience to what God has commanded,
no im not.
Jesus never commanded anyone to follow the Mosaic law.... where is the proof? You can't give it because it's not in the Bible.

Proof you do not understand the New Testament teachings. Paul was before Felix because the jews themselves were accusing him being a heretic. Teach against the edicts of judaism and creating problems.

Paul was a Pharisee which he understood exactly what "the way" was about. It was a new covenant,

Paul teaches that Christians are free from the Mosaic Law, having died to it through Christ, and are instead under grace. Key chapters illustrating this include Galatians 3–5 (justification by faith, not law) and Romans 6–7 (dying to the law to belong to Christ), emphasizing that believers are not under law but grace.

Galatians 3-5: Paul argues that believers are justified by faith, not by works of the law, and that the law was a guardian only until Christ came.

Galatians 5:1-13 famously states, "For freedom Christ has set us free," urging believers not to submit again to a yoke of slavery.

Romans 7:1-6: Paul explains that as a woman is released from the law of marriage upon her husband's death, believers have died to the Mosaic Law through Christ's body and are released from it to serve in the new way of the Spirit.

Romans 6:14-15: Explicitly states, "For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace".

Ephesians 2:15: Notes that Christ abolished the law of commandments in his flesh, creating one new humanity out of two.

1 Corinthians 9:20-21: Paul shares how he accommodates to both those under the law and those outside it, stating he is "not outside the law of God, but under the law of Christ".While Paul states the law is "holy, righteous, and good" (Romans 7:12), he teaches it is not the means of salvation or sanctification for believers.

Romans 6:14 says, “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”

Ephesians 2:15 by abolishing in His flesh the law of commandments and

Ephesians 2:15 by abolishing in His flesh the law of commandments and decrees.

Galatians 3-5: Paul argues that believers are justified by faith, not by works of the law, and that the law was a guardian only until Christ came.

Galatians 5:1-13 famously states, "For freedom Christ has set us free," urging believers not to submit again to a yoke of slavery.

You don't have to be Hebrew roots or SDA to be following exactly what those cults teach, every argument you've made they also make

while it is good to recognize that the NT authors were commenting about how to correctly interpret the OT, it is also good to recognize that the OT can help us to correctly interpret the NT. If we believe that the whole Bible is true, then we should use one as a check against our interpretation of the other rather that running with whatever the authors of the NT appear to us to be saying as overriding the OT. If we interpret the NT authors as contradicting what they considered to be Scripture and the OT as contradicting the NT, the that should indicate to us that we have misinterpreted something and should lead us to look for a way of interpreting them that is in accordance with each other.

Satan misquoted Scripture.

Jesus spent his ministry teaching his followers to obey the Law of God by word and by example and the problem that they had with the Judaizers was not that they were teaching Gentiles how to follow Christ.

I am glad you admit that the NT tells us how to correctly interpret the OT, and I agree that the OT helps interpret the NT.
I hope you will repent of your perverse reverse hermeneutic and realize that the NT fulfills and overrides the OT concept
of being saved by obeying Mosaic laws such as the Sabbath (Heb. 7:11-10:1) and receive the Holy Spirit per Jesus in John 14-16
(cf. 1John 2:20-3:24)and per Jesus via Paul in Romans 3:21-5:1 & 8:1-15 (cf. Col. 2:16-17).
I think this wish concludes what I would say regarding this topic, unless you have a new point to share. Happy trails!

some, including myself, see the OT must be used to understand the NT

I wonder why Jesus Christ made the statement that we are to live by every WORD of God and that must include the N and the O.

I wonder why Paul stated to Timothy that the OT was profitable 16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished (equip fully) unto all good works.

but I do understand why folks see it the other way around --- as has been the case since Adam --- they refuse to obey and actually Every Human is born incapable of obeying God !

I wonder why when Christ returns as KING of Kings He will need to rule with a Rod of Iron??? LOL

just for the purpose of clarity,

Was Jesus pointing to Jews or Christians in Matthew 7 or is it to ANY and all that Claim Christ is their Lord?

If to all that call upon the Name of Jesus Christ -- then what is iniquity/lawlessness referring too.

What is the iniquity that is being done that would cause Christ to disown them

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

if Christ is speaking only to those in His day -- why is this in the New T?
Jesus was sent only to Israel.

The primary audience that Jesus was speaking to are are the Jews.

These two statements above are the strict context of the four gospel accounts.

There is no debate on this fact.

Let AI explain this for you below.

Primary Mission (The Jews): Jesus directly stated, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel" (Matthew 15:24).
He also instructed his disciples initially to avoid Gentile or Samaritan towns and focus solely on Israel.

Purpose of the Priority: This focus was to fulfill God's promises to Israel, acting as the Messiah who would then
bring the blessing of salvation to all nations.

That's why it is so important to identify when Jesus is talking to the Jews directly.

Otherwise, if you misunderstand the context you end up under the law, in one way or another.

The Old Covenant is a physical contract for a physical people with physical laws, physical promises and a physical priesthood
The statement above is close to the truth but lacks precision.

The Old Testament was overloaded with types, shadows, a world of shadows on which the light shone.

Jesus arrived to fulfill the law (the shadow) and the prophets (the shadow) for the Jews.

Gentiles never knew God and were never under that Mosaic law.

Gentiles were grafted into Christ and they were not the natural olive tree.

Add to that...

It's worth noting that often in the text when Jesus or the apostles are speaking you will see the term a mixed multitude or a multitude which would imply that there are Gentiles present however when this is the case there is usually some indicator in the text if he is directing specific statements two to a segment of that group

Here are some examples to show that Jesus was specifically speaking to the jews.

Examples of Jesus speaking directly to the Jews and not to the Gentiles.

Matthew 10:5-6:
Jesus explicitly commands his disciples, "Go nowhere among the Gentiles and enter no town of the Samaritans,
but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel".

Matthew 15:24:
Jesus tells the Canaanite woman, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel".

Mark 7:27:
Jesus states, "Let the children first be fed, for it is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs,"
referring to Jews as the children and Gentiles as dogs
.

John 4:22:
While speaking to a Samaritan woman, Jesus affirms Jewish heritage, stating, "...we know what we worship:
for salvation is of the Jews".

Matthew 23:1-39:
Jesus addresses the crowds and Pharisees in the Temple, rebuking Jewish leadership regarding the law and their conduct.

Did Paul seek out and address the Jews first on every occasion?

Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first
and also to the Greek.

Romans 2:10
But glory and honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

Jesus was crucified and written above on the cross stated, 'The King of the Jews'.

There is only on true King of Israel and the birth of Jesus was a royal event.

The messiah was the King of King and the Lord of Lords at all times.

Jesus returns as the King of Kings because He was the King of Kings before creation.

do you not understand the OT NEVER offered salvation,
never offered eternal life,
never offered forgiveness.

the OT was physical blessings for obedience and death for transgressions. period -- it saved not ONE, never meant to save.
Lev. 26: 1 - 39 read it see if what it offered.

If Israel had obeyed they would own the world right now and it would be like the Garden of Eden. God would have blessed them beyond measure.

keeping the Torah/Commandments is required -- it is our duty, no reward for doing what is expected of a person.

I do not kill anyone --- what is my reward?? none, it is expected of me.

Do you believe God the Father will allow into HIS Family liars, thief's, an adulterer, a person that lust after what another has like Satan is doing right now?

Satan transgresses every Commandment, every Word out of the Mouth of God --- I will state for certain Satan will never be allowed near the Kingdom and neither will any that will not obey what God has determined is righteousness.

Obeying is required, not an option, no reward. we are required to live by every WORD.

We will be rewarded for growth, what we produce in our lives, in us -- remember the parable of the pound?

I keep the Commandments and I only want to be around others that do also --- do you want to be close friends with those that transgress the Commandments? Do you want your children to be liars, crooks, I can't believe any one would.

God wants righteous children, each of us has the right to say no, but God the giver of life will say by by.

I can’t find where in the Bible the Sabbath ceases .
The Forth Commandment states - Remember to keep holy the Sabbath. Nowhere in the bible does it state to Forget the Sabbath. Jesus came to fulfill the law rather than destroying it. The questions is - what is the law that Jesus came to fulfill and at what point of time was it, or will be fulfilled.

what does "fulfill the law" mean?
fulfill the laws requirements?
I know what is wanted "Christ did it for us so we do not need to" that makes no sense either.

I did not lie so now you can??

Jesus said heaven and earth will pass away before any of the law . The earth is still here so is the Law . Fulfilling the law is another way to say Doing the law or keeping the law . He did it on our behalf so in that sense he did it for us . He who knew no sin was made sin for us . The law must remain or there is no sin . Or sinners . The proof the law is still in effect. Just a few thoughts I have on it .

Just wanted to clear some things up here, because I know the Sabbath is a hot topic for some people. First thing for Gentiles who desire to hold fast to the Sabbath on the 7th day, go ahead and do so if you feel convicted to do so as a blessing comes with it (Isaiah 56:3–8). However, please understand that as a Gentile, you are not required to uphold it on the seventh day. The seventh day is treated as a weekly high holy day by Jews across the world on the seventh day because it clearly states in Exodus 31:16–17 that the seventh day is a perpetual covenant between God and Jews (not the Gentiles). Early Gentiles believers would not and some could not adhere to the Sabbath seventh day of rest because they worked every day, especially slaves. But that was ok because that Mosiac covenant was not binding on them. Nonetheless, keeping the sabbath once a week no matter what day of the week it falls on has many benefits and it should be practiced for your benefit.
