"In other words, we can see that not all commandments are the same kind of thing."

In The Torah are found the Commandments, the Statues and the Judgements,

The 10 Commandments all carry the death penalty; spiritual law
most of the Statues are physical and are punished physically.
The death penalty is a civil matter. If an Israelite under the covenant breaks one of the commandments, the matter is adjudicated in a court. This is the key piece of the puzzle that the Sabbatarians lack. There is no court today.

22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

we are being judged by Jesus Christ, it is HE who commands the wicked be cast into the Lake of Fire.

Luke 19
27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.

The MANY will very soon realize Jesus Christ is KING of Kings and it will be too late. THE KING IS the Court.

BUT, The MANY are not headed for "hell'. After the 1000 years they will all have their opportunity for eternal life at the 2nd resurrection. Ezekiel 37

Yes our sins nailed to his cross . As we keep the Sabbath don’t judge us .thats what men did to Jesus , and Jesus said they did not keep the law let alone the Sabbath correctly .
Paul's point in Colossians is that we have freedom in Christ and should not keep the sabbaths.

False . Jesus kept the Sabbath and called any man to follow him . End of discussion

Guilty Of breaking one commandment, guilty of breaking them all God wrote the law and punishment. Your argument is with him . Some people obey God .

This is beside the point. The so-called Ten Commandments are included in the Mt. Sinai covenant, which was adjudicated in a Jewish court by human judges.

How does this address what I said? It doesn't. Paul is writing to a group of Gentile Christians living in the Lycus valley. For some reason, they are listening to false teachers who are teaching them to live like the Jews. He teaches them and us that we are free in Christ and not obligated to practice Judaism or any other religion.

Someone correctly mentioned that Torah speaks about the Commandments, the Statutes and the Judgments. We get faked out because what we call the "Ten Commandments" is not a list of ten commandments; it is a list of ten "words." In fact, the Torah refers to the Decalogue as "The Ten Words."

Contrary to the assumption, that the "Ten Words" is a universal moral law. Jesus' summary of the Law is built on a command that is not in the Ten Words at all. If the Ten Words were the universal moral law, Jesus would have quoted them. Instead, He grounded the entire law in two commands—neither of which appears in the Ten Words. That alone shows the Decalogue is not the moral apex of Scripture.

- The Torah calls them **Ten Words**, not Ten Commandments.
- The Torah never elevates them above the rest of the covenant.
- Jesus does not elevate them above the rest of the covenant.
- Jesus’ summary command (“love your neighbor”) is *not* in the Ten Words.
- Therefore, the Ten Words cannot be the universal moral law.

The moral center is **love**, not the Decalogue.

Those who preach that Gentiles are obligated to rest on Saturday have made a category error based on the faulty assumption that the entire Decalogue represents a universal moral obligation. Jesus is saying that the center of the Law is not the Ten Words. The center is Love. And Love is defined outside the Ten Words.

- **Deuteronomy 6:5** — *Love the LORD your God…*
- **Leviticus 19:18** — *Love your neighbor as yourself.*

Neither of these is in the Decalogue.

Hebrews 4:9-13 rest. You realize, man has not yet God has and still does rest, loving. us all om his mercy and truth of Son first. Amazing

I rest in the peace the Lord Jesus provides to those that abide in Him which is not just a Saturday thing it's an every day thing

John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

According to those who thought they kept the law even though Jesus corrected them many times,
Jesus broke the Sabbath, and they sought to kill Him for that reason, as well as for blasphemy.
Jesus said he was the way , so his sheep followed him and did what he did , keep the Sabbath correctly .

Was Jesus a Jew?

Was He under the law?

Could He have fulfilled the law without keeping the Sabbath?

Can you show from scripture where Jesus commanded any Gentile to keep the Sabbath?
Read John chapter 12 when the Greeks desired to see Jesus is the context verse 26 If ANY MAN serve me , let him follow me : and where I am there shall also my servant be : If ANY MAN serve me him will my Father honour .

Any includes Gentiles that’s the context . Any Man how can you exclude the gentiles ? That would be a contradiction especially in the context . Notice those that follow Jesus are with him . Didn’t the disciples follow him ? Yes they did and where with him up until the time that he was taken by Judas and the soldiers. He invited the rich young ruler to follow him and yes I choose not to follow because of his wealth etc. Here is the invitation for ANY MAN to serve and follow him .

This passage should be enough if you have ears to hear . But once indoctrination sets in truth is elusive. The Pharisees a perfect example. They did the law their way . And where blind to Jesus teachings as Jesus said , read the book of John and Jesus dealings with the Pharisees. It’s a good lesson.

I already quoted Romans ch 3 great explanation if not indoctrinated already , perhaps some may find the truth if seeking and not already sold to doctrine of men . Read Roman’s ch 3 whole chapter too many verses to single out . Always read in context as much as possible.
Jew and Gentiles are all under sin . V 9 , As it is written it says in v10 that’s the written Law , what else ? Just a few tips . Read the whole chapter….

Matthew 22
King James Version
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Hang all the other 8 laws , not 7 laws . They are still in effect. Notice they hang unto these two laws and are not discarded , if you fail the first two laws you certainly will not keep the other eight .

So braking the other eight are proof of failing the first two , the first one is Loving God . Lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God ?

Congratulations. You answered absolutely none of my questions.

Can you please answer my questions?

No, that cannot.

If they could they would have posted those instructions from the Bible by now.
Show a verse where Jesus refuses the gentiles from following him , you must not have read John 12 . Please don’t make ignorant statements!
