I was just on the Bible Discussion Forum. At the bottom it said there were 376 Users - 37 members and 339 guests. I don't understand the 339 guests. Who are they? Same thing for this forum, 93 users - 8 members and 85 guests. Who are the guests?

They are people who are browsing the forums but they have not signed in.
So they could be members or non members.

I think it is also possible to sign in but be invisible, so it might also include these
people.

I think I've always suspected they were members who just hadn't signed in, or as you say, are invisible.
There sure are a lot of them. I wonder if they are even paying attention to their computers.

A clue would be in the fact that a person who recently quit the site still has posts on the site, but this person is listed as a guest, not a member. So I believe that the guests are mostly non-members who are viewing the site without actually signing in and creating a profile.

Computer bots trying to steal your information so they know what to advertise to you on your browser.

But there aren't a lot of people designated as guests, are there?
