So I was listening to k love and they played this song More than you know and It brought me to tears and I could feel my spirit connecting to God as if the words in the song were directly his voice speaking to me. I thought to myself I have to find who sings this and I went on youtube and found the singer named Danny Gokey so I listened to it on youtube because everything sounds better on youtube than radio I am not sure why and it did the same thing. but that is not the whole reason I am posting this I just listened to another one of his songs because of you and something happened,

as I listened to the song I felt both my spirit and the holy spirit not just move but come alive, it was as if the holy spirit was overtaking me and surrounding me, I even felt my head gently and gradually moving up as if I was going to look to the heavens. I could move my head and make it stop if I wanted but I didn't it was literally as if someone was moving my head upward. then I got on my knees and the my spirit became even more alive. For the first time in such a long time I knew what it meant when ppl say the holy spirit is alive I even dais that in my head as I was kneeling I said to myself the spirit is alive.

when the song ended I knew I just had to tell ppl of it even now I am still full of life and energy as I type this
 
Ever since this happened today the holy spirit has been moving inside me filling me knowledge of God's beauty love and glory. I don't know what is going on but it is amazing, this is not something I am used to it is like an ocean wave is gently flowing within me or God's gentle and caring hands stirring my soul. Its as if God is revealing to me his beauty and wonder side of him and the holy spirit is moving like the wind all around me.
 
That's cool...a lot of Christians on here dismiss the "super-natural" experiences for some reason....that's probably why you haven't got much of a response. I was meditating the other night(it was all quiet,no distractions) while I asked God a question,some other voice intervened and said something! Scared the crap outta me!
 
Awesome! Yeah I do feel God when I'm alone praying one time about 3 month ago I was on my deck looking at the sunset I felt a.calm touch in me and that he made me smile I started feeling like singing(even if I wasn't good at it) so I started sing dear God I just want to thank you song I have heard song by a local.worship band it was awesome. One time a church during worship I saw glitter meaning it was his presences I knew it because I felt him God is so amazing. He uses me in so many ways and leads me to do sign language songs which I do for the worship team One time I just wanted to.dance during praise and worship some joined with me lol but yeah it's so awesome :)

Last night I was at the point where I was barely awake. you know that point where your just about asleep but not quite yet? well I was at that point and I heard a voice say my name and it woke me up but there was no one around.

Yeah man, that's an encouragement for you brother, the God of all creation knows your name and hasn't forgotten about you! I love hearing God in that weird in between place between awake and sleep. I love meeting Him in the secret place. Not long I heard my name being spoken while I was at work, I looked around but no one was around, it was audible man but not at the same time.
 
I think singing and music is definitely a part of worship. In Revelation 13-the elders and the angels, the sephaphim, the redeemed, everyone's singing around God's throne. In the Psalms it says the Lord inhabits the praises of His people, so it would make sense that He would draw near to you and let you feel His presence. He loves you.
