Whatever. The British Royal family were iconolasts, and destroyed the Catholics set up, and even tried to take over Ireland. Then made their own Church of England which basically just copied Catholicism but the King as its head instead of the Pope. Swings and roundabouts.

It's because America was founded by protestants escaping religious persecution. They in today's time confuse this with the Catholics, but topically, and kinda darkly, wasn't the Catholics the Pilgrims fled from, but rather the Church of England lol.

I mean...whatever. People were worshipping Princess Diana's image, and the Queen always had statues and portraits of herself. Such is the semi-divine power of royalty.

Mr T was on television a lot even before his whole presidential kick. Clearly wants to be worshipped. But we ain't falling for it.

Oh ignoring the tripe about Trump, this first part making me want to watch Elizabeth The Golden Age again. Now there's a woman to look up to. Indeed the irony of the virgin monarchs, to give up your humanity to save the State. God save Queen Elizabeth I the fire muse, praise Jesus.

 
There's like at least 9 threads on this news forum about Mr T and even more about America, and people are just sick to death of him hogging all the news

So that's why this thread is here. Harry needs some attention.

PRINCE HARRY! An actual, bonafide real life Prince, or one that is born one, and who's lineage stretches back hundreds of years and is known to practically all of mankind (or anyone living in the commonwealth) and who has a much nicer and cuter face to look at than anyone else on the news today so...

um ...if you've read the book Spare, you can post on here. If you haven't then...go away lol.
 
Also BTW if you haven't kept up, Harry is now living in the USA after being AWOL and estranged by his own birth family, and that's why he was telling HIS side of the story in a tell-all book.

Just like his mother did with Diana, Her True Story (your mileage may vary) . It's out there, it's in public, it's more than 400 pages, if you can't be bothered reading it you can listen on audiobook where Harry mumbles in his British accent...

And no, I am not his PR and in no way connected with the Royal family except as a librarian who has read a lot of books on the Royals, by them and about them.

Also if you want to know the Christian perspective on this because Harry's dad is now like the defender of the faith (the Church of England specifically, which his ancestors founded) then you can find it here! And this is not made up or pretend or some silly fake news. It's real!!

This thread is about Harry. Prince Harry. Harry of Charles and Diana. King Charles the third.. you know the head or ruler of England. That tiny island nation of Great Britain. Or now known as the United KINGDOM. or the UK for short.

recap - Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer got married back in 1981. It was a royal wedding. They had two sons, first William in 1982, then Henry (known to everyone as Harry) in 1984.

Harry is the one with the beard and red (or ginger) hair.
William is the one who is now bald. William is married to Kate (nee Middleton).
Harry is the one who married Meghan Markle who's real name is Rachel. Meghan was born in California, and has no royal lineage. But she and Harry ...oh this is too long a story. Maybe start reading some books I can give you a whole heap.

William is known as 'the heir' (heir to the throne) Harry as 'the spare'
This is what their mother, the late Princess Diana, or the Princess of Wales, called them. This is all true and in the public record.

@tourist it's ok you can post here. You and your wife read the book, because you posted on this thread about it.
I know the book has been published a while back now, and Harry gave all the profits to charity, well he said he did. But it's still important history simply because he's the son of ..the King of England. And the brother of the heir to the throne.

I always liked Harry and feel bad about his seemingly being pushed aside because he was the second-born son and not the first.

The only attention Harry needs is to become born again. His wife is of little to no help to him. I doubt if his mother was alive he would have fallen under her spell.

That's the way royalty works, the firstborn is the most important, but they also have the biggest share of the burden.

In the Bible the firstborn is dedicated to God, not so the second born.
But God sometimes mixes them up a bit.

Never really says much about the third-born.

You do feel kind of bad for Princess Margaret, and they way she turned out. Always in her sister's shadow.

mm who can say.
Can't judge that on mere appearances, but a person is known by their fruit.
 
Sometimes it takes a little while for the fruit to appear. Harry has been cut down a lot during his life especially his childhood.
 
The 'born again' experience sometimes people read that as the resurrection.
Spiritually.
We all have to die, or die to ourselves at some point.

It remains to be seen, if Harry can rise to what his destiny will be.

Jury is still out on his wife, a lot of people love to hate her.
 
When Harry was young and his mother was needing help or seeking and going to all these new age healers and what not, Harry observed that she went to women who were into 'crystals, candles and cats' lol

Harry and Meghan are def dog people, as is King Charles (has a spaniel named after him)

Oh I hope he is, or at least exposed to someone who is influencing him. I know Billy Graham was close to his grandmother, and I saw a movie once that made me think she became saved before she passed. I hope her children and grands all come to the Lord through her influence.
