Light is not matter, it is energy. The speed of light has long been considered constant. However, scientists have been able to slow light down to the point where it is solid. It's not a simple task. However, it demonstrates that the speed of light may not have been constant throughout history.

Evolutionists rely on a constant speed of light to calculate billions of years for the age of the universe. Materialistic science relies a great deal on unproveable assumptions. That the speed of light has never changed is one of them.

It is such a fragile assumption that to question it brings howls of derision and abuse from supposedly rational and objective intellectuals. The process involves temperatures near absolute zero and a semiconductor material. It enables photons to flow like electricity. I do not understand the process. It involves quantum effects. You can find information on the net.

His Truth is eternal, His creation is allied to decay, and all the science pertaining to it will also pass with it. True knowledge comes from Him, and it will be forever with no changes.

To throw another clog in the churn, light redshifts and blueshifts depending on the velocity of the emitter, like a star, relative to the observer, like us on this planet. If we are moving away from it, it will look more red. If we are moving toward it, it will look more blue.

When I learned of this it wrecked everything about the constant speed of light. Speed relative to what? It can be a constant on this planet because everything is stationary relative to everything else, but out in space it cannot possibly be a constant because there is nothing stable against which to measure it. The speed of one star's light is different on different planets, depending on their different velocities relative to the star.

Of course that the theory of revolution has some holes but if you want to believe that God created the Cosmos in 6 days, that also takes some mental work to ignore your eyesight and reasoning and of course if you believe in Abiogenesis, that takes even more faith than believing that God created the Cosmos in 6 days.
The important thing is that all roads lead to God one way or another despite different paths.

in your posting, it can be discerned that you may have an issue with God creating everything in 6 days as you say: "also takes some mental work".......... it shouldn't take any mental work at all to believe God created whatever He created. simply believe & that's final. the more people wonder about it the less faith they have.

with equal enthusiasm, why didn't you read postings that i have big fingers & hands & it's hard for me to type. i save time by not capitalizing. also, i didn't fully type the "mental work" statement to save time. too, i have stated that i really don't care for this sort of thing as entertainment but because it's a Christian site & most people are gregarious & amicable, i deal with it. i partly, am assisting others who may need advice & in return, i've been helped also. so how about commenting directly to my statement. if not, lets respect each other & offer solid Christian advice when someone is in need of healing. thank you.

Of course dear friend, but we didn't come into this world mute or blind right? Based on those senses, God gave you reasoning too.
So you don't just believe randomly, do you? You don't just roll the dice, right? I mean reading the Bible takes eyesight, seeing Miracles takes eyesight too. Making a distinction between personal revelations that God has given us between this thing we call 'shared reality' are two different things. All roads lead to God via a shared reality or personal revelation and we talk to those are able to talk and reason.

And this raises the question of what about those who are born blind or deaf or mute? I don't know how that works but in one documentary, a blind man was able to 'see' better than us because he was making a sound from his mouth (like a bat) to get an awareness of his surroundings so his mind could build a mental picture of a 'tree' or 'wall'.
God's ways are mysterious and our desire for him should never falter despite our paths being different.

That's exactly why i said that, because i read it.
So to help you with that, i am suggesting a large keyboard with Bluetooth so you can connect it to your phone or laptop or whatever you have and it will help you type better because the keys are spaced out and it's very large.
Have you thought about this option or no?

In simple terms, when Adam was created he "appeared" to be a full grown man even though he was a "newborn." There's no reason God couldn't create the Universe exactly the same way... everything into existence and once, but "appearing" to be much older.
