I am still puttering around I went to my sisters for the weekend to doggy and house sit. I had a good time it was quiet and peaceful. I started my Math class last week so I have that going on. I am hoping my comp is going to be settled and done on my court date sept 26th. I am praying daily for God to help me make a plan on where to go and what to do next spring when I get close to the end of my lease here where I am at.
I found a church here that I like I am hoping to be going more often. I also want to schedule a day to be Baptized. I really want to go to the picnic they had and be baptized in the lake but my vehicle was broken and I could not go. So I now will set up a day to have it done at church. I want to do this soon so I have it done. not much else going on I figured I would drop by and say Hello so you all know I am still lurking around the world lol. Just taking things one day at a time and trying to make some kind of goal list aka plan list and see where I want to go and what I want to do... My heart is telling me to stay here in New York with my kids but my mind is screaming for me to move south to get away from the snow and long winters...

Consider moving to Florida. Except for the occasional hurricane it is a real nice place to work and live. Yes, there are a lot of people down here but there is always room for a few more. Eventually, most people end up moving to Florida or a least dreaming about it. What you could use is a new start away from the toxic environment you now live and a clean slate.

I have a sister in South Carolina and a good friend in Georgia and my Dad in Florida my friend wants me to move to Georgia my sis wants me to move to South Carolina my body is telling me to move some where I can get my pain treated properly my friend says pain management in Georgia is very good. I have no Idea I think in October hopefully I can take a few weeks and go down south and visit and see whats up down there. I really need my pain managed better I have nerve pain all day on and off not to mention bones crunching in my neck etc,, I want to be treated like a human by a doctor not a dollar sign I want a doctor that cares every time not just half the time. I know this day in age I am asking a lot but I should not have to suffer and neither should anyone else. Anyways long story short my friend says she think pain management there in Georgia will help me. I have no clue I am just rambling today lol..

There is excellent pain management in Florida also, especially with Florida Hospital and its affiliations. I know this from first hand experience with my late second wife who had debilitating psoriatic arthritis and other serious health issues. If you come to down south spend some time with Dad in Florida.

And your kids? I know of your daughter, but might have forgotten others. (Either I did forget the others, or you haven't talked about them.) How old are they? Because I'm thinking at your daughter's age she's probably thinking of where she wants to get away when she's able.

If'n I could move anywhere, I'd move to Tennessee -- housing market is cheap, cost of living is cheap (compared to the Northeast), less chance of hurricanes than even the Midlantic states, (and I'm very much into finding some place with few natural disasters EVER lol), and the pace fits me. (Everyone races by me, and geesh! I live in a city, so I ought to be able to keep up after 25 years. Still have the pace of the South in me.)

The disadvantages kill me though. Not as close to my family, (which is ironic, since I'm unable to visit them even this close), our needs (grocery store, medical care, and bank) are within walking distance if our car ever kicks out (or snowstorms clog the streets.) And neighbors! Never needed neighbors until recently. They become very helpful when they can tell we could use some help.

her house remain smoke free yes I however did not I have been back on the stupid smoke binge for pretty much two days after my last post.. Ughhh I am still trying though I have been not smoking as much. When I get some money I am going to buy the nicoderm cq patches as now all of a sudden my insurance will not cover them.. I am not going to lie I have been puffing away like an idiot. I am hoping the patches will finally help me be done with it i really do not want to smoke I guess when i get stressed i just go for them and with the amount of stress I have going on right now that is not hard to do..

My oldest daughter is 24 and my youngest daughter is 17 will be 18 in December. I kind of have been just praying about the situation and seeing what may come up. I am stuck in a lease where I am at until July I can buy out of it early if I want to but by the time I actually get my settlement it will be October so I may go visit down south for a month or so come back and hang out for the winter at least. that will give me time to get my ducks in a row finish my associates degree and try to make a plan of some sort. I will just take things one day at a time and see where it goes. Hubby still has plenty of moments more then not but I try to just ignore him or I tell him plain and simple he is being an you know what... So i have been calling him out on his behaviors. Other then that I am just hanging around waiting and seeing. At this point there is no real hurry to do to much I did tell him I am filing for divorce when I get my settlement so he knows at least that much. we basically live like angry roommates anyways..
my oldest daughter wants me to just be happy and if that means move on then that what I have to do my younger daughter is more needy so i worry about her she is 17 but has the mentality of a 8 year old it is sad she has lots of trauma and lots of problems going on. I have asked begged pleaded with my mother to get her into therapy and she shot me down every time. It really angers me that my mother is so selfish that she has always put the needs of my daughter on the back burner and now my daughter is paying for it. I even went to court to try to get the court to force her to take her therapy and they did not do crap. I know my mother cares for my daughter in her own twisted way but the biggest reason why she is still with my mother is because of all the money coming in for her being there child support and ssd etc..
The only time my mother ever calls me is when she cannot handle my daughter or the child support is late or does not come. That is pretty sad she does not call on birthdays Christmas etc.. Sorry I am off topic here lol...\

Have you tried vapping yet? Nicotine's only bad effect because it is a little bit of a relaxer. (We called them "downers" in my day. No idea what it's called now. lol) It's not carcinogen. All the other stuff in cigs have the cancer-causing agents. So, if you can go to vapping, you can keep the habit and the stress-reducer without the health-hazard.

The patches did help the PMS affect. (Oh, come on now! Doesn't that overload of anger that hits feel like PMS on steroids? lol) No help whatsoever for the habit side though.

As for daughters. Oh, yeah! It was an "I forgot." I always remember the daughter in trouble. Forgot the older one.

Have you considered a compromise on where to live? I've got family or friends in Syracuse, Albany, and Buffalo, so I get the blizzards of "lake-effect snow." And, dang! Bitter cold too! (Dad got married in Syracuse in mid March. Where I live, "mid March" means first-signs-of-spring, so I picked a gown that worked in that weather range, but the high for the day he got married was 0! And the meteorologists were telling us there might be short "squalls." Squalls? It was the same blizzard we went through the day before. Geesh!) But a friend on LI only complained when hurricanes come through. (Two in the ten years I knew her.) They get snow, but the Atlantic Ocean acts like leaving the freezer door open. It's still cold, but reasonable cold like we get in Philly. (0 degrees is NOT reasonable. It's just not.) If it's just the snow that drives you nuts, do some googling to see where in your own state there is no "lake-effect snow." There are such places.

it is not just the snow lol it is the cold..
