Ananda, I'm intrigued by your last post. The things you said are full of Life. I see that you are only 29 but that you've been 'growing in the Lord'. (And you've been on this site since last March and already have over 7,000 posts. Wowsers.) This is refreshing to see as it definitely isn't very common these days. I'm encouraged. You said, "Truthfully only the Holy Spirit teaches spiritual things. we are just conversing and affirming and comforting one another with His Holy Words and seek Him." Very true. And there is a difference between rebuke and exhortation. I think most times, it's easiest and best to leave the interpretation (or revelation or clarifying) of a thing to the Holy Spirit (eg. the difference between rebuke and exhortation) as He majors in teaching spiritual things.
Pop, I like the passage you quoted: "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity" (1Tim. 4:12). This seems like a pretty good online forum to be on (at least so far). I'm glad to be here.
Hi, Red. You're right. There are also different callings and dispositions, and each one can see things from a different facet or aspect of God's heart or Jesus' ministry. All of the gifts and ministries are given to edify, and among them all, there are times when each one is most needed (whether prophetic or pastoral or teaching, etc.).
