unless you got scripture to back up what you're saying, you're only spouting opinion, and limiting God's power in the world.
 
Ok prove to me in the Bible where it says right now in heaven their blasting heavy metel music.
 
I have already proved that musical instruments are used for worship... Look back in this thread... It's found in Psalm 150... The electric guitar falls in the category of a stringed instrument. The tabret / timbrel falls into the category of percussion. The drum is in the category of percussion.

Colossians 3:17

So before you let your emotional attachments or the traditions you grew up with tell you what is right and what is wrong, go to the Word, and let it speak for itself
 
Yeah u can use a electric guitar n all that stuff I never said u can't read my first post it all depends how u use the instrument s any thing can be used for wrong reasons ur saying the Bible says u can use thse instruments. I never said u couldn't but u can use them for the wrong purpose. People use God n the Bible for wrong purposes and God is good n the Bible is good but some people use them for wrong purposes. Now I have nothing against these instruments I love the electric guitar but when u use the instruments in a screeching way n loud roaring way its not the same. Ur supposed to make it sound beautiful and peaceful but instead ur breaking strings on the guitar because of how rough ur using it n blowing out amps because of how loud it is.so ur telling me that making a guitar screech really loud n completely crashing on the drums n screaming on the microphone in a torture way is beautiful and peaceful?
 
and are you God? who are you to limit God in how He uses the world to spread His message?

How did I limit God did I say God can't do something nope I never did not in any of my posts.what I said was how was crashing on the drums and screeching on the guitar and breaking the strings and screaming in a torture voice on the microphone peaceful and joyful thats what I asked u.
 
and I say God is God, and He uses anything and everything to call people to Himself.

He called me through metal... do you think I'm not saved because He used metal to get to me?
 
The joy of music is subjective. We are all created in God's image with similar likes, dislikes, feelings, and emotions. We can't possibly know God's preferences for most things. Someone who says that God hates metal would have to be someone who interprets metal to be loud noise/aggressive themselves. When I was a teen I was diagnosed with ADD and still have it. Metal was the only thing that could level me out enough to do homework as I found more mellow music to be unnerving for some reason. Metal is defined by nothing more than a distorted guitar signal. To me this song is extremely peaceful and uplifting. Inspiring even.

Like I said im not gonna argue with any of u no matter who try's to push my buttons u guys don't agree with me n thats ok I don't hate any of u or mad at any of u.zilla u changed the topic I never said u weren't saved ur changing the topic why don't u answer the question I asked u n to dothackzero ur like tryna insult me or judge me and remember if u juge me ur gonna be judge twice as much .but like I said im not mad at u im not gonna argue with u no matter where these topics go I could but it won't do nothing the Bible says I have to be an example a shining light so of that means let any one of u criticized me as much as u want n me not arguing with u guys because its childish then so be it.like I said I have no hatred or anger towards any of u nothing but love towards u all.:)
 
and where does the bible say that a certain type of music is Satanic, or demonic, or something that God can't use

i must admit that i've done worse. i was in the hardcore and metal scene for for over ten years. i used to listen to secular metal and hardcore. God convicted me of it so i sold all my cd's and started exploring christian heavy metal. before long there was a conflict in my spirit listening to christian metal even though the lyrics were Biblical. i now don't even listen to christian metal.
i think it has something to do with metal having pagan roots. with the likes of dio and iron maiden, if you play more modern metal you are walking in the footsteps of bands liike them. i mean, just go to your local record store and pick up a metal cd. more often then not it will have evil content in the artwork alone, and you won't even have to listen to it to know it's wrong. so is that something christian bands are suppose to emulate?
i remember even watching an add for a band. they showed a black metal band wearing corpse paint and the whole get-up and then it said, unblack metal. i laughed, that's like an oximoron.
i'm not saying i'll judge any christians on here who listen to christian metal, but for me i know it's a sin.
 
I dont judge anyone who listens to either but it just doesnt gel with my spirit. The sound and image just doesnt seem to fit the message. I like christian rock but I just cant get into the harder stuff...but its difficult for me to say its wrong or a sin to listen to it.

that's my main point to is that it conflicts with my spirit. you added a great point as well with saying that the image doesn't fit the message. i'll remember that.
 
"Christian Heavy Metal" is an oxymoron.

Heavy metal music, by it's own nature is ANGRY.

Christian Angry music? ahhhh No.
 
When someone bashes christian metal does it make a great big clanging sound? I can see how that can be annoying.

Thats what I was saying to in my first posts its not a peaceful music its loud and obnoxious.
 
Im not one for the heavy metal myself,:)
Im more a blue grass, jazz kind of person.
But I think the heavy metal christian music might be more like the thunderous and firery voice of God for those that need this. :)
If it feeds the heart in Jesus Christ is Lord come in the flesh, all is good.
Scripture says that God brings all things to His perpose, glory.

Just warn me when its being played, so I can seek a quiet place, these older ears suffer easly. :)
