If Christ is our Passover, what does that ordinance mean? It's a spiritual prophecy of him, not a priority of the flesh.

Jesus took the physical ordinances of Israel out of the way nailing them to His cross for they were contrary to us because they had no bearing on spiritual salvation.

But were a shadow of things to come but would pass away when Jesus provided salvation.

So do not let anyone judge you concerning them for they are void now including eating unleavened bread.

Love is the fulfilling of the law is the only thing that applies now.

This pairs nicely with Matthew 16:5-12

'And the disciples came to the other side of the sea, but they had forgotten to bring any bread. And Jesus said to them, “Watch out and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread is a great tie to this because if leaven/bread is to represent teachings/pride, then the Israelites fleeing Egypt with no time for bread to rise can symbolize leaving behind the wicked teachings and gods of Egypt. The week of no yeast symbolizes becoming humble and submitting to God. Then the two leavened loaves offered after 50 days represents letting God provide that fresh yeast to fill them with the true and pure teachings of the Kingdom of Heaven and His Spirit. We must rid ourselves of the yeast of pride and false teachings, become humble unleavened dough, that can then be raised up with new leaven as a Shavuot offering.

Matthew 5:13-17

It seems like salt and light go hand in hand with bearing good fruit.

As light, our lives should illuminate truth and uncover the decietful veil sin hides behind, thus being a light in the midst of darkness is to be a righteous example that helps others navigate a world saturated in spiritual darkness. As salt, our lives should be proof of the eternal covenant of God between His people, and this alone should enhance the lives of others through the sharing of the, love, joy, and hope of Jesus

Oh how the system of the world tries so hard to make good things look wrong, and bad things look right. It is good to be salt, yet the world has made being "salty" a term of bitterness and jealousy

I wonder if the Leviticus verses about grain/meal offerings apply to Romans 12s theme of offering your life to God.

If you devote your life to the Lord, then there must not be pride (yeast) and the love of sin (honey) in the heart. A humble heart heeds the instruction of the Lord and seeks to be in agreement with His will. Devotion to the Lord is an eternal covenant of love that bleeds into all areas of one's life (salt)

The whole Law is about the Grace of living with Christ.

Matthew 5:17—

Doves represent love, bulls represent plowing, goats represent peacefulness, lambs represent pure innocence, unleavened fine meal represents the pure truth, salt represents one's tastes in the Truth, and oil represents the flexibility of the mind around it.

They are burned as a pleasant aroma to God, as in acceptance that this life go the way of them, and the smoke will remain to the next world.

To seek out how the Law is the Faith and Discipline of Christ Jesus by the Spirit of what it says and allowing the Spirit to reveal to you the interpretation instead of allowing an outside source to influence you, that is pure fine meal.

In the earliest known Biblical Hebrew version of Exodus, the two letters “Aleph Tav” (the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet) are put as a marker right after 'God', the first word written for the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20). These are not just the Ten Commandments of God in the first covenent, the Ten Commandments of God the First and Last.

What really is the first covenant, if it's not exactly the Law of Moses, or the 10 Commandments?

Well, it begins by God writing His Ten Commandments on 2 stone tablets, right after greatly proclaiming them with a very great voice with the sound of a loud trumpet and descending in a great fire—a sight which would cause anyone with a soft and tender heart to submit to the Lord with fear and great holy reverence for such a sight, the word of Gods mouth would instantly be engraved on the tablets of their Heart (Their Hope and Their Initiative).
Yet God has to physically engrave his commandments on two actual stones with His Own Hand.
Why? Not for the softess of heart for those who believe, but for the hardness of heart for those who unbelieve.

The First Covenant is not just a Covenant, it's a lesson about what man on earth is.

Exodus 19:3— Moses went up to God, and the LORD called to him out of the mountain, saying, “This is what you shall tell the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel: ‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings, and brought you to myself. Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, then you shall be my own possession from among all peoples; for all the earth is mine; and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.”

This Thick Cloud is the mystery and parables that cover Gods glory that veils him which we pass through as we seek out His presence in every part of life and Meditate on His Word. It is also presented as a perfect Law for those who don't believe, for them to consider and turn to Gods Council.
Nobody knows the Things of the Spirit without having the Spirit in them or having Gods Council with them.
The same affect are the Parables that Jesus Preaches, Made easiest for new Believers to Process, being simply about Gods Judgment and Entering the Kingdom of Heaven.
In Him the veil is torn in two, Setting our Hope and Initiative to the side, so that we may now see straight ahead to the True God in His Love and Mercy, knowing that we are not Judged Nor at rist of losing Our Eternal Life and Perpetual Inheritance with God on His Throne.
But again the thick darkness is still necessary for the unbelievers,
“That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.”
That when there's a time when man is without Gods' Light yet still seeking Gods' will that he may not walk in the darknes of corruption but in Gods Darkness.
As the Law of sin brings knowledge of sin, the faith of men that they may fulfil righteousness will guide them to the righteousness that's in the Law. The Law of Righteousness; For the First Fathers who were Led by God in the wilderness would not attain to the Law of the Lord having received it with Signs and Miracles, having been Led by God Himself in a Pillar of Smoke by Day and a Flaming Fire by night, hardened in sins and unrighteousness shown to them by the Gentiles who rejected God, but God had His Parables and mysteries about His Faithfulness recorded using the weak and corruptible elements of the world, so that those who are weak and corruptible may preserve His Law and Ten Commandments for a testimony to those who Hear and Believe the Truth, Even those who have not witnessed firsthand The Glorious Signs and Tender mercies He has shown to His People in the wilderness, that they may believe that God is True and that He is Faithful toward whom He Calls. For as soon as the two Tablets with the Commandments had finished being created, just so was The First Covenant broken as soon as it was made.
God, having called aloud to Moses: “This is what you shall tell the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel: ‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings, and brought you to myself. Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, then you shall be my own possession from among all peoples; for all the earth is mine; and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.” Before all the people and afterward being responded with “All that the LORD has spoken we will do.” By all the People immediately before coming down and Proclaiming His Ten Comandments with His Own Great Voice, even more immediately was forsaken for a calf idol made of the Gold that God Gifted them.

For The First Covenant was a promise that through men attaining to Holiness themselves would cause God to dwell among them to establish His Heavenly Kingdom with Them while on Earth. Yet man, unable to attain to the Law and Commandments to the degree of Perfection that God requiresfor such a blessing on this Earth, must rely on God as a Guide and for Salvation and to bring their will to Obey.

You shall teach them the statutes and the laws, and shall show them the way in which they must walk, and the work that they must do. Moreover you shall provide out of all the people able men which fear God: men of truth, hating unjust gain; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens. Let them judge the people at all times. It shall be that every great matter they shall bring to you, but every small matter they shall judge themselves. If you will do this thing, and God commands you so, then you will be able to endure, and all these people also will go to their place in peace.”
So Moses listened to the voice of his father-in-law, and did all that he had said.


It is important that those who proclaim teachings are blameless before God when it comes to teahing about His word.
One must cross-examine their ideas about the scriptures with inquiries to God at all times.
It is easier to prevent apostacy on Christian networks than people think, by asking in Jesus Christ whether what they're reading or even the direction of their meditation is wholesome or corrupt.

This is very true. On top of this, like how the apostles had to rebuke each other, teachers should be accepting of correction. Whether it be from God Himself or from a follower of little status, the teacher's heart should be humble enough to not reject correction. The fear of looking unknowlegeable and flawed should never be greater than one's hunger for feeding people truth. While being in error may be embarrassing, it's growth, and God uses our mistakes to further demonstrate His power

I feel a lot of pastors are stuck not learning because they fear if they came out and confessed to the congregation they were wrong about a teaching, then they'd lose their following and the power it gives them

I highly insist everyone who holds a disputed teaching pray about it to God before they continue in it.

That's easier said than done , I'm guessing that most of us , genuinely believe what we believe and we r not trying to b deliberately contentious . I know that I believe one or two things that many others don't . I don't take my beliefs lightly and I don't take the beliefs of others lightly either . Have u read in the Gospel of John , right near the end chapter 21 verses 20-23 ? Already false interpretation was creeping in ! It's a terrifying thought just how quickly and easily things r twisted and misinterpreted ! All I know is , we need faith , in God , in Jesus and , we need to keep studying the Bible , everyone of us every day . I've read it very many times and know for sure , that it does reveal itself over time , not all at once . We have to b consistent and determined and keep our hearts and minds open to God's Word in order to b able to receive it without clinging to man made doctrines and interpretations that have seeped into our subconscious . Read it , read it again and again and again , every day for all your life . Truth will reveal itself , if we let it . In the mean time , we should not condemn those we don't agree with , we r all on the same path and , we will all get to the end in God's good time , He deals with us as individuals and we have to respect each others journey as private between them and Our God . We r not born ready for meat , we need milk first and God decides how and when to teach us His Truth so , we must not disrespect each other .
