Been having bouts of dreams where I am in houses of the past, going through basements of familiar places, having conversations with people of the past. It's not pleasant. Something is off, like I am different or they are different. It seems like it has a touch if guilt, bringing up who I had been. A touch of the feeling of failure at who I have become. It's all trickery I realize, but sometimes when I feel a dream, it stays with me as if it really did occur.
I'm watching 8 kids tomorrow from 12-6 and then on Friday from 8-6 during some church training for church planters. I'll have another helper, an older lady from my church, but I have a feeling she won't be a whole bunch of help. I'm not really looking forward to it. In fact, I'm dreading it a bit, at least Friday because it's for so long. But they need my help and I will survive. It's only two days. My brain will just be mush at the end.
When a dream stays with me, often God is using it to get my attention and reveal something to me.
God bless,
Chain
I used to have dreams where I was doing some mundane task, such as paying a bill.
Then I would get a late notice even though I "remembered" paying the thing. Record keeping is important. true story.
If you ever need a kick in the pants, remember, that that is one of the reasons we are here for each other. tough live, baby. tough love.Update on that. ^^^
God totally kicked me in the pants this morning, back into shape. In a good way. So...I think I'm back to being alright. This is a quicker recovery than normal. A good sign.
Subway should have a drive through.
