My dear sir, I think it is closer to my being a bit wonky. I sit hither like a bump on a log ruminating on the idea of putting forth my two cents, only to make a shamble of things and look like a nincompoop. Need I say more?

I made myself bleed somethin fierce today. Of course, I need to bandage myself, and my first thought is, "I don't have surgical gloves on!"


I've been too indoctrinated; although my lab prof would be glad that's my first thought. :D

2015 has some great films lined up too though, including Avengers 2, Jurassic Park 4, Star Wars 7, Fantastic Four, Batman vs. Superman, Ted 2, Mission Impossible 5, and more.

I'm still skeptical about Star Wars 7 and Batman vs. Superman, but i'm still looking forward to them. :cool:

Other flicks that i'm really looking forward to:

2014:
Horrible Bosses 2, 22 Jump Street, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (even though I think the concept is ridiculous, I still liked Rise of the Planet of the Apes), and Night at the Museum 3

2015: A new Peter-Pan flick.

2016: Pirates of the Caribbean 5, Avatar 2, X-Men: Apocalypse, The Amazing Spiderman 3, The Flash (Fangirling), How to Train Your Dragon 3, and Finding Dory (Finding Nemo sequel). Other Marvel films are coming out as sequels to the Avengers 2 as well.

I want time to go faster so I can see all the great movies coming out.... :D

There are some spiritual/Christian films coming out too; hopefully Hollywood does them justice.

I am well-established in my beliefs as well. I may not be as vocal on here as some people. It isn't the on forefront of my conversations. I like to keep things lighthearted. Is this how I am viewed on here? Cool and hip? I know you didn't mean much from it, but I don't like to be compared to others, and found lacking.

Arwen83, I apologize!! I did in no form mean to infer you weren't spiritual and wise and awesome in ways other than being cool. I'm genuinely sorry if I offended you. I was actually trying to defend you against Ugly saying you were a hipster. Please forgive my negligence. :-(

Sometimes I wonder if people think I act "holier than thou" or overconfident on here....makes sense, because I'm hearing in my head what I'm typing down, and I think it sounds fairly well thought out and know what I'm talking about. Confident in what I believe in. But I guess that just makes me sound like a cocky teenager.



On a completely unrelated note, tonight's Christmas program went very well. My parents and sister were able to make it. Though once or twice, from hunger or nerves or both, my hands were so sweaty and I got nauseous and slightly light headed. Thankfully, I have a stool to sit on when I want it or need it.


I miss my sister (for those who don't know, I have two older sisters). My oldest sister moved to the other side of the country in May (she moved not one, not two, but THREE time zones behind.). This will be my first Christmas without her. I did Thanksgiving okay. But this? This is...so much different.


Not a day goes by that I don't think about her.

So, you can honestly say that in the whooole two weeks you've been here that you know Arwen well enough to make judgements on her spirituality, and even so much to the point that you felt you could make a comparison with her spiritual state with a new member who hasn't even been here a day?

Or is it more accurate to say that you saw Ugly poke his elbow into Arwen's side, and you decided to do the same, even though a lot of us are still getting a feel for who you are?

Would you rather I had assumed you were making legitimate snap judgments, because I think that's worse, personally. Or are you offended because I tagged you with the newbie label? You've been here all of two weeks; can you honestly say you're familiar with and on solid footing with all of the regulars here? It's not derogatory for someone to call someone new...NEW.

I went to Arwen instead of to you because I honestly felt you had no malicious intent. If I felt you were sincerely making snap judgments, I wouldn't have spoken to Arwen, but instead to you. And in that case, no, I would definitely not be "nice."

So I called you new. Big deal. Guess who else was new at some point? All of us. Chill.

It's all good folks, I believe Elibeth didn't have bad intentions, just worded in a way that pushed a sensitive button. She didn't know my silly personality. I felt that I needed to post to correct my image if I was coming off in a certain way. All is good :)

Can someone please send me a fax or make a copy of the people am allowed to be friends with on CC w/out stepping on anyone's pious toes.

That can be my Christmas gift. Ya' don't even have to wrap it.

Too much "do as I say,but not as I do" nonsense me thinks...
