YES. One of my grandmothers was born and raised in the deep southern United States, and the other was born and raised in the Philippines. They have little in common, but both of them do this.
 
So on Christmas day my oven/stove had a little explosion. Sometime today a technician is supposed to show up and decide if I get a new oven or it's a part. I hope I get a new one... :D

I always get this nagging thought, that I am trying be someone I am not. To be authentic. Don't be cliche. Be different. Don't be phoney or a poser. Must justify who I am so that people understand that this is actually who I am. Worst nightmare is to have someone claim to know me more than myself and to tell me that I am a poser. Authenticity is so compulsive. Always questioning, is this me? Even in terms of guys that I might be interested in, thinking 'is he me? Need to stay true to myself. I am afraid to like things that I do, because old things are popular now, and I can't have people thinking that I am just following the herd.
 
I just semi-woke up from having a nap.

This 43 yr old naps.
No. Not always. Just today.
I was listening to (as I was fading in/out of semi-sleep) Tourniquet...followed by Forbidden.
Have you ever woken up to music & sort of just started rockin' out without really moving...ok hard to explain.
Random thoughts.

I am somewhere in my heart coveting Ugly's muffin thing that his Dad brought him.
I don't have a Dad...let alone one who ever walked in the door & said "Here Son,have a tasty muffin!"
Part of me is kinda happy for Ugly. (only a tiny part) lol

My life still feels in ruin. Yet here I sit typing mindless drivel about myself to CC.
I must say,sometimes I don't know what I'd do without this thread.
It's sort of comforting.

I wonder what it would be like to be 30 again & have as many dreams & goals as I once did back then.
I had so much more energy.
I still have energy,but it's more the type to get me into trouble.
No it's not. That just sounded all cool & dark & bad-boy-ish in my mind to type.

I think all I want now,are tasty muffins...awesomely brewed coffee,and a weird girl to snuggle with on cold nights to watch stoooooooooooopid movies & nerdy t.v. shows with. Oh..and a really cool chunky dog that I can roll around on the floor & wrestle with.

When my friends are arguing about pointless things (and I mean pointless, as in no one is learning anything or receiving any benefit), sometimes I intentionally act obnoxiously happy to the point where I nearly drive them insane, which eventually distracts them enough to quit arguing. They're irritated, but they're also done arguing. :P

Sometimes, I want to do that here.

People: what the? stop that! *continues bickering*
Me: GUYS GUYS STOP FIGHTING LET'S JUST HOLD HANDS

"Don't make me get all happy up in here"

You are so stinkin adorable. I wanna pinch your cheeks and pat your head and have you as a little sister.
 
Sooo today I bought like this gingerbread type granola stuff (it contains the molasses and sugar and spices, but does not contain wheat/gluten. Just rolled oats). It's pretty awesome. It tastes like a gingerbread cookie in granola form. And it's better for you (it's organic/non-GMO. Two of my favorite words to see on food stuff. :D).

Sure they do! lol Some of my closest friends have sucker punched me with snowballs...you just have to do it in the spirit of love. :)
