Tonight is one of those nights I'm so lonely it hurts. I want to cry because of how it feels. I haven't felt that way in a very long time.

If the average 10 year old in Sunday School knows how many plagues God poured out on the Egyptians then the guy who is supposed to be teaching the adults sure better know. I think it's a reasonable expectation that my pastor and elders know more about scripture than I do.

I agree. If he cannot get the basics right, then he cannot be preaching to the adults.

I hope that after the service someone, one of the elders, took the opportunity to speak with him about this...........if not, then at least provide him with a "link" so he can research it for himself.........dunno, something like:

Just thank God a one armed man didnt come visit the Church that day and decided to lurk in the back. Lol
