So sorry to hear about what's going on at your previous workplace. I know from experience though that people who spread lies like that are usually already thought of by other coworkers as someone who is not to be believed.
I used to work with someone who I thought was really awesome because he had so many cool stories to tell until one day another worker basically told me that I should take everything he says with a grain of salt (which means don't believe everything he says), and this was one of the top managers telling me this. Then I started thinking about the stuff the guy said and realized that it did seem a bit far fetched. I was probably the only one there who really believed him...

Lil, I'm so sorry. New Year's Eve was really hard for us too. Just know that she's watching over you and that one day you'll get to see her again. She just went to heaven a little bit ahead of you.

I bet he's a decent christian and doesn't app you from morning til night and ask you to come over and take your toothbrush with you. Yes such normal friendships exist, but I was more worried about this case. I can't be friends with him. I just give the wrong impression if I always answer nice and friendly. Just learned that from google. Google knows a lot. Next time I just shut my phone off.

Anyways, no one treats me like that because I set up boundaries in my friendships. If someone does that, I set up a boundary immediately. No one has done that extreme, but that's because I don't get into unhealthy friendships or relationships. All my relationships are healthy with the opposite gender and with the same gender.

Just wanted to tell everyone thanks for the kind words of support. I feel a lot better today. Had a lot of prayer, etc., and realized a lot of it also boils down to my pride.
I was upset because I didn't want a bunch of people thinking stupid things about me! It was all about my reputation. But life isn't really about us, is it? (I know, I know, God has to keep reminding me about that.)
I wish we could all have one big meetup... and a huge group hug!!!
