I might lose another job.
When will this crap end?

My dad is also threatening me and saying that he wants to get me a court order so I can go live in a shelter.
My car is falling apart, *more like on its last leg*....

My life sucks.
 
Yeah I knoww.
I'm really upset about it because I don't know who to talk to about it and the fact that my dad wants me to go 'live in a shelter' just baffles my mind.

I totally do not blame you if you lose your job, Blue. They seemed like they didn't even know why they hired you in the first place and had no idea what they are doing, but I'm really sorry if you do lose it - only because you'll be jobless, not because you'd be better off there. God will get you through whatever happens. Hang in there, k?

Ugh, I'm sorry Blue, this does suck. :( And what the heck, dad?? That's the most bizarre thing ever. (How does a court order do anything? I don't even understand that.)

I'm praying now that God will provide for you in all of these things. Don't give up! *hug*
 
Sitting here in a quiet kitchen eating a cold-cut turkey pastrami sandwich on whole wheat with mayo while browsing CC and looking forward to doing some recording. I think I'm going to do Carole King's So Far Away. Been wanting to do that one for a few nights now..
 
Does anyone else find it amusing how many different thoughts, views, feelings, opinions, etc... there are about anything and everything? ...and even if there weren't, majority doesn't equal authority. Coming into agreement about something isn't justification for that thing, and in counter to Shakespeare, 'thinking' does not make something so. (Though I will give you that thoughts are the root of all our words, actions, feelings, etc...so that version of the saying is certainly true.) I find it interesting... life is very interesting.
 
Ok, here it is. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. For anyone brave enough to listen :p....

I also did Bohemian Rhapsody (by request! :)) but will upload it later.. i don't want to scare off too many people at once! :D
 
Sunday Service was good... Sunday school class with me teaching... really could have gone a LOT better. I feel I failed in my duty today to try and teach these kids, keep them entertained... keep my eyes peeled on them like a hawk and play with them.... btw... I had 10 kids in my class today. I have never dealt with that many kids before. and granted i already had ONE helper... but it got so overwhelming I needed a second set of hands. and that second set of hands... felt like Jesus helping me out. Just wow, I honestly couldn't have done it without that other helper. I plan on telling the Kids ministry leader that I cant just have one Sunday off... I need a break and once a month, isn't a break. I love the kids, don't get me wrong, but I cant keep pushing something that clearly I'm not ready for. 10 kids... 2 helpers... and only 3 kids were in diapers. omg... today was crazy.. :(
 
Good sermon on spiritual warfare at church today. Only in the LORD are we strong and able to battle.

Read an article about 10 alternatives to the Big Bang theory (which is bogus) and this is what was written towards the end.

Wrong! Carl, do your research. Hinduism birthed evolutionary philosophy. It's not scientific in the least. Your bias is showing.
 
I think being strong in the Lord and putting on the armor can be summarized as, bank everything on what Jesus has done for you. Rest every amount of faith on what he did on the cross. Trust fully in the righteousness to be found in Christ, trust fully in the truth of the Gospel, fully embrace the Gospel, rely on nothing but what is received by faith, be guarded by nothing but his salvation, trust his word. Rely on the power of Jesus to save you from your sins, fully rely on that, and don't rely one iota on your power to will your own righteousness.
